在ieee-embs会议上的一片文章感兴趣。他们现在准备出一个engineering in medicine
and biology的series,问我们有没有兴趣写个chapter或monograph什么的。当时我还
挺受宠若惊的，去问老板，他说不是什么大的出版社，没有什么意思。如果我想写，他
也没有意见。我看email里列出来的series editor, advisory board members还都好像
还比较牛，什么harvard medical school, standford medical school的，一大堆。
有人听说过这个publisher吗？不知道是不是垃圾，值不值得花时间写？谢了。 |

publish a short GRL paper last year. But you can always make a case to ask
for a waiver. Of course, it's eventually up to AGU to decide if they will
award you the waiver. But if you have funding (or if your boss does), it's
hard to justify it. |

The invention in A did publish 2-3 years before the FILED date of patent B.
But still patent B claimed that. It actually claimed every parts of its
system. Among them, many technologies are just those said in the textbook.
I also found that for example, patent B has claims B1,B2,B3,..., while patent
C has claims C1,C2,C3,.... Actually only, say, B1 and C1 are different. The
rest are actually the same simply because as a whole system, it needs all the
rest aparts. So can I use |

Exhibits Index 和 Outline of Contributions 作为对本版众多热心ID的回报吧。如
果能顺便挣些包子，485过了定当散尽家财，希望到时粮仓充实了点 ：－）
我的case他引一项很弱，所以我Exhibit Index中有意突出了一些闪光点，在文章（18
－65）、引用（69－79，141－145）和审稿（80－87）方面和网上看到的模板以及律师
提供的都有所不同，有意突出了自己认为比较强的方面：由于是跨学科，杂志分布比较
广，SJR 排名里找到了最适合自己的用上了。希望对和我情况类似的有所帮助。

刚开始申请，自己真的是一点都不懂，所有点点滴滴都是从本版学到的，我建议初学者
可以经常到班上考考古，真的会有很多收获！
下面就把我自己的pl分享给大家，其实我当初也是在版上找到的模板，然后根据自己的
情况稍加改动。建议大家根据自己的情况，哪里是自己的强项，就要多多突出。我自己
的文章影响因子一般，但是引用很多，而且都是一些正面的评价或是大段的引用。所以
我特意弄了表格把所有这些引用都彰显出来，说明我的工作对别人是有很大影响的。
还有就是contribution部分介绍的几个工作，我基本都是用同一模式介绍的每个工作1.
推荐信中怎样说这个工作2它解决了什么问题3发表哪里，杂志介绍4引用情况5其他文章

享下。RFE的response其实也就是再重新组织材料，重新写的petition letter.
看到RFE， 我感觉IO根本没怎么看我的petition letter, 所以在准备response的时候
，都时时考虑，如果IO粗略扫一眼的话，他能不能get the point. 所以用了很多下划
线，加粗之类的highlight 关键词。格式上每一项，每一小项都分清楚。那些个比较复
杂的证据，如果不是非常强，宁可不要。
