各州obtaining licensure的要求不同，那些有处方权的clinical psychologist,他们
的training更多，要求肯定更高。绝大多数的psychologist是没有处方权的，而且据说
psychiatrist是极为反对给予psychologist处方权的。

我想还是专门开个帖子小小说明一下：
1. Psychiatriest 这类人是MD 出生， top list
就是常规的 MD training，specialist in Psychiatry，+ 4 years residency
他们可以 PX medication
2. PHD Psychologist， 一般5 years scientific training
这类人更多的是做 testing， university base 的
很多出来是给 non-profit-organization 工作
lincense clinical 的，好像也有PX 权利的。
（每个州法律不同的关系，有的州，甚至nurse 也有PX medication权利）
3. Psy. Psychologist 比较professional 的psychology training
not university base， 比较special institute base 吧。

psychologist，原因是Autism。问了我许多问题。家庭情况，家族史，从怀孕的情况都
问。儿医是很relax的医生，不是那种小事看得很严重的类型。其实我娃七八个月到13
个月的时候我也担心过她自闭，连说都不给最亲的人捧，一要摸她就把说缩起来。后来
情况好了我就没多想。今天Wiki了一下Autism，上面说的表现我娃都有，除了语言，她
现在都是说着很高级的中英文，中文各种句式都会表达，英语能说三到四个词的句子，
能唱10个词的英文歌，不是ABC歌。今天听到这个消息觉得好崩溃，伤心地大哭了。
WIKI上说是遗传的因素多，娃的爹超级内向，不擅长社交。今天跟娃爹汇报了情况之后
他说只是性格像他，比较内向而已，不是自闭症。其实我觉得娃爹的表现和WIKI上描述
的情况更加符合。好崩溃啊！现在也不知道该怎么办。 |

开药的，虽然一部分psychiatrist也同时做talk therapy.
如果不是很严重的情况，可以先约前三个title的人先聊聊，如果有用药的需求的话，
可以让他们refer一下psychiatrist。如果已经是很严重的情况，建议两边同时约。 |

implementing IDEA special ed. law with the IEP team... It's like being a
lawyer, doctor and teacher at the same time.
2. Rural areas: a lot of travel time. Usually school psychs are itenerant
around several schools scattered in a large district.
3. Pay: A lawyer: 100k a year... A doctor: 100k a year... A school psych: 50k,
10 months...

发帖数: 1858 | 27 基本没有，有些clinical psy.的学生，为了可以开药，会另外考一个护士的执照。
另外，clinical psy.不见得没有医学院辛苦，有些人甚至声称因医学院过于昂贵和
训练时间过长，而且太注重药物而忽略了心理学的理论，所以更愿意读Ph.d in cl
inical psychology. 当然这个是一家之言了，因为Ph.d in clinical psychology
的training也很长，一些PHD就要7年以上，也要做intern，还要有research。
Ph.d in clinical psychology 的program一般也竞争激烈，可能仅次于医学院．但
我也认识一个clinical psy.的学生，她已经进了医学院，原来想读neurology，读
了一个月不想读了，退学再重新申请了
clniical psychologist 的收入一般要比psychiatrist少很多，但是也肯定是有其
他方面的满足感了。
还有就是，不是任何事情的出发点都是为了收入了。

从去年的三月份起, 我就象进入了一个恶梦中.
我马不停蹄地联系了儿童医院和学区要求做development assessment.儿童医院的
waiting list竟然要8个月. 我问有没有可能快点,得到的答复是没办法,资源不够. 学
区相比还算快.本州法律规定必须两个月做完评估.从我联系学区后,学区做了一个非常
综合的评估, 包括educational, speech, physical, occupational, psychological
assessment. 既做了对孩子直接的测试,也有去他的幼儿园观察. 家长和老师都填了一

As a lonely psychoanalyst Trump supporter, I feel the need to exercise my
First Amendment right to speak up. I think the majority of my psychiatrist,
psychologist, and psychiatric social worker colleagues feel dislike,
distain and antipathy towards Donald Trump. Many psychologists state that he
is mentally ill and could damage mental health in America. I disagree with
these colleagues.
