street and I plan to plea guilty here. But the municipal court operator/
clerk insisted that I should appear in the court and she told me "the
prosecutor needs to talk to you because this ticket carries 2 points". Does
it mean the prosecutor wants to make a deal here by surcharging me say $200
for points removal? Should I take it if s/he presents such a deal?

单子上写的是3月22 6点前by mail or on person on court.我的理解是3月22号6点带
着罚单去的时候就可以见到judge or prosecutor,然后商量罚单的价钱和扣分数情况。
今天6点去后的实际情况是，只见了前台接待，交单子后问我：是guily or no guilty.
我问了gulity会如何，不gulity会如何，要多少罚款和扣多少分，没想到她说他根本不
知道，只是让我选择。然后我问那我怎么可以见到法官商量呢。她说只能是在选了no
gulty后，留个地址，3到6个月后，邮寄来来信，告诉你什么时候去法庭，有
conference, 然后法官再和你商量罚款的事情。如果想知道罚款是多少，就选择认罪，
会直接给罚单的价钱。那我当然是直接写没罪了，只能等了。
这样的情况正常吗？我听周围的人说的是去别的法庭，第一次就有法官和你商量价钱的
，不合适再要求trial. |

填了地址，也没有告诉我她说的那个conference的时间，说3到6个月才能收到信告诉我
时间，那多慢啊。而且也多了一个步骤，周围别的法庭都是第一次去交罚单的时候就可
以直接见到prosecutor和谈判的。
还有今天那个前台只是我问我gulity or no guilty,可是在单子背面也没有让我选择打
对勾，只是说我在最下面那行填了我的地址，我现在还担心，我说的no guilty她要是
听成guilty就麻烦了，因为我问过她如果guilty是罚多少钱，扣多少分。 |

if they paced you, they have to have produce a certified calibration of the
car speedo done within 6 months, if they dont have it then you walk because
their speed measureing device has not been proven within a legal degree of
certainty as accurate..as LONG AS YOU know to ASK FOR IT.

去年8月25号晚上,从家里去学校的路上被抓,40的路,条子说我开了54.二话不说,一张
ticket,我一看,还是我们学校的警察,nnd,下手真狠.条子是迎面开来的
然后就去法院要求上庭,初定是11月底吧,一共要去两次,前一次递交motion,第二次
trial
谁知道我把日子记错了,递交motion那次忘记去了.第二天再去,说只能重新安排时间.于
是motion递交排到1月27号,今天trial.我对本州的speedy trial不是狠了解.由于上一
次也是我的失误,没能按原有排期,所以我也不指望靠speedy trial的trick了.
1月27号,坐在大厅里面溜溜的等了几个小时,无聊透顶,自己翻看着打官司的书.老爸非
要陪着去看看,也是无聊的坐了半天.倒是前台坐着的一个貌似intern的小姑娘clerk,她
