Jerry Brown, 民主党和平权法案（SB185&SCA5)
大家有一个误解以为JERRY BROWN是反对SB185的，因为他否决了SB185。其实JERRY
BROWN在他的申明中说的很清楚，他赞同SB185，他否决的原因是因为做为宪法的

案子的起源是密歇根州的选民在2006年以58%对42%的比例通过一项州宪法提案(
Proposal 2)，禁止在公共事务（包括公立大学录取）中通过族裔和性别等进行歧视。
这个法案和加州之前通过的Proposition 209类似。密歇根州这项法案被美国联邦第六
上诉法院认为违宪而推翻，密歇根州检察长因此向最高法院提起上述，希望最高法院驳
回上述法院判决，恢复公投通过的禁止令。
本周二最高法院以6比2的投票推翻了上诉法院的判决。持主要意见的法官们认为州选民
可以通过投票的方式决定公立大学是否可以在录取时将族裔作为考虑因素。这个判决并
没有探讨基于族裔的大学录取是否违宪，也没有探讨平权运动的具体执行，而是肯定了

离6月3号的加州初选只有三天了。这次初选注定会成为华裔参政历史中的亮丽一页。借
这个时机，希望总结一下过去自己几个星期粗浅的观察和思考， 做一个结论。也希望
对其他还在思考的朋友们有一些借鉴的作用。
今年早些时候， SCA5革命揭竿而起之时, 我还在国内游山玩水。四月底回到美国，感

论文，里面有很多的"proposition"，但"proof of proposition"大多都不严密不完整

提醒一下， 這場戰役已經結束，反同婚陣營已經徹底潰敗，婚姻平權陣營已經全面勝
