local考点的空缺位(Availability)，发现今年4月份-12月份，下半年大多数月份，都
只有1/2的日子有空缺了。10,11,12月份都只剩下1/3的日子了。
不是说，交钱报名的时候，只能选3个月内的吗？按照Promatric网站的信息，岂不是很
多人提前大半年就占位置了？
请大牛们指点。究竟提前多久报名？ |

发帖数: 9 | 6 I have to say that I'm so not lucky. I tried all kinds of IEs and different
computers. Finally I gave up and called Prometric.
If anybody has the same problem, don't waste your time. Call them and make
the appointment directly. But when you call prometric, be aware that your
phone call connection may be lost once or twice before you finally make it.
That's what my 'bloody' experience told me...:(

out what is going on. Probably you also need to email NBME to ask them to

months. You can pick 10-12 even you register now. And Prometric handle all
kinds of exam: TOEFL, GRE, Nurse, Insurance.... So, those exams will occupy
some of the vaccancy, too. |

NBME step 1 改期
(1) 如果是在三个月时间段之内 - 可以直接改期
(2) 如果是在三个月时间段之外 - 需要extend eligibility (可以延期一次)
- Extend eligibility之前需要cancel现在的prometric appointment (打电话给
prometric center)
- Prometric center confirm之后，交70 块左右给NBME -> extend eligibility ->
重新选考试日子
extend eligibility一次之后 -> 需要重新apply (要重新交600 块左右)

费了半天劲学了会计学位，经济也不好，加上看到身边的中国同学都买来Becker或者
Wiley有心要考试，于是也决定考注册会计师？
美国注会考试由AICPA统一出题，但是具体的考试资格认证，考试报名程序，考试分数
公布，职业执照认证发放的权力在各个州的会计行业委员会手里(State Board of
Accountancy)。有一些州把考试这一块儿的事务单挑出来交给了NASBA (National
Association of State Board of Accountancy) ，有点类似outsourcing services。
而一些州则仍然自我管理。如果Board看成州，那么NASBA有点像像联邦政府 Federal
government，大家都知道在美国具体法律权力执行都在各个州，联邦政府没有什么权力
，只不过保证各个州在宪法层面上是统一的而已。

changed their strategy(originally 5 days in advance), so contact with
