最好不要转non profit H1B，除非老板承诺立马给你办绿卡。

1. non-profit h1b的处理时间和一般的h1b一样。可以加急，两个星期出结果。
2. 只要h1b的transfer交上去后，你收到收据，就可以立刻给新的单位工作，没有多久
不允许工作的规定。至于，旅游不清楚。
3. 你现在的公司不会知道你正在做transfer的。至于多晚告诉现在的公司，取决于每
个公司，我是提前2个星期。
4和5不清楚，没有用过h1b入过境，也没有签过h1b。 |

LZ现在OPT，在学校工作，学校开始给我办H1B了。我OPT是明年4月下旬到期，学校申请
的H1B就是那时候生效。LZ太傻冒了，没有申请OPT ext，直接搞了H1B，之前一直不懂
会有啥问题，现在突然意识到问题会很严重。。。。
LZ可能明年年初想去industry工作，但是就会面临non profit 转profit，今年的H1b名
额走的那么快，如果不在4月1日前敲定，估计名额也轮不到我吧，就算轮到我，也得熬
到10月才能上班，公司未必愿意等。如果没有及时抢到名额，是不是就得等2014年的10
月？额的神啊。。。。
请版上同学支招，还有啥补救策略吗？我现在的情况，还能去搞opt ext吗？也有想过
让学校去给我撤回那个H1b，然后申请opt ext，但是这样老板知道我有了异心，接下来
大半年也很难混吧。。。 |

我只是想把自己的经历写下来，希望对类似遭遇的同学有帮助。
我是STEM 专业，在一个nonprofit 的机构工作，OPT EAD 在2016年4月23日过期，我在
2015年12月14日提交了OPT extension 的延期，于是悲剧从这一天就开始了。 USCIS
规定不能在EAD过期的120天之前申请，我提交那天是EAD过期日之前的131天。
在提交申请的时候，我询问过学校的international office 需要准备什么材料，学校
的DSO 没有提醒过120天这个时间窗口，另外我自己也确实不知道 (怪自己功课没做足)
， 另外我们学校的很多朋友也不知道120天这个时间窗口限制，只是他们没有遇到过这
个问题。（所以学校的international office 确实也不太认真，至少没有在120天时间
窗口这个事情上对学生做好功课）。再次一定要提醒大家注意这个问题： 只能在EAD过
期前的120天之内申请，提前1天都不行！！！

我的情况是：现在在一个高校非盈利机构工作，使用的是不占用名额的non-profit h1b
. 现在准备找一个盈利公司的工作, 由于担心抽签和gap的问题， 打算申请concurrent
h1b， 为新公司工作的同时，也继续为当前机构工作以便保持身份。
1. 这样的方案可行吗？ 被USCIS批准的可能性高吗？ 我打算将新的工作当成fulltime
，而当前的工作转成part-time。
2. 想再次确认下： 此情况下申请的concurrent h1b是否依然不受名额限制呢，即使新
的公司是cap-subject的情况下？
3. 这个concurrent h1b是由新公司还是当前的单位file，还是两者一起？
4. 递交了concurrent h1b申请之后，是否只要移民局收到申请 即可开始为新公司工作
，而不用等到被正式批准（因为已经是h1b的身份（non-profit））？
有人熟悉此类问题，或者有过类似经历的吗？ 非常感谢！ |

个人, 老板也是owner,很坏的一个犹太人.我离开后,想要把我的４０１Ｋ转出来，跟
银行的 account manager 联系,她开始给我发表格的时候，告诉我帐户里总共有$２６
０００， 我填好后,过了几个星期,只转给了我$１７５００，这只是我自己的
contribution. 我就问她,不是总共＄２６０００吗，公司match 那部分呢? 她开始不
理我,我问了好几次,最后给我回说正在算,又过了几天,给我来封信,说 profit share这
部分只有$３２００． 这绝对不对,但我没有确切的document, 因为公司profit share
这部分balance, 只有老板有,从没有 forward 给我们． 请问,哪里我可以查到确切的

政府部门的auditor, 这个主要是tax audit, income tax or sales tax for state,
property tax for county.
non-profit和government的又不太一样。我知道的non-profit好像多数是医院，如果是
医院的话好像问题不大。当然它跟企业还是不一样的，因为它不交税。但是好像
accounting还是GAAP吧？至少我认识有人auditor四大出身跳到Standford hospital,
然后又跳回industry去的，不过没碰到过entry level进non-profit然后再去Industry
