estate professional 报税
1. 2016 有agent 执照
2. 2016 4个月full time job，但不是跟房地产相关
3. 家庭收入>15W
4. 投资房自己管理, 符合每个房750hr 的条件。
5. 一个投资房的损失是 1.9w
我的状况是，虽然有agent 执照，但是并没有很积极的带人看房子，年交易额（1099）
也非常少。在没有full time 工作的时候主要打理房子。
这样的状况，2016 年是不是可以用materially participating real estate
professional 来避开15w 以上 passive losses 的cap.
如果，2017年我不当agent 了，也不full time 工作，自己打理投资房，是不是也可以
算做materially participating real estate professional。 换句话说，就是如果没

如果是想打职业比赛啥的，任何时候都可以给自己用个“professional”的status. 用
了不太容易改
回来就是了。
这个pga professional 是如果要教球，或者在球场工作，或者其他pga american，或
者PGA 这
些求职，或者就是没事弄着玩，用的。

国已经工作学习一段时间，但希望转行或者跳槽的同学；也包括一些科班出身但条件实
力较弱的同学。而没有CS相关背景，或者实力较弱都成了申请的拦路虎。
我们大部分中国申请者概念中的CS Master，大家一般不假思索的就认为是MSCS，也就
是Master of Science in Computer Science。这类项目一般都是各大高校计算机系的
王牌核心项目，直接去竞争很难录取。所以很多同学会避开MSCS去申请一些擦边的项目
比如MIS(Master in Information Systems)。
那么我这里想介绍另外一种“擦边”思路，就是我们彻底打破Master of Science的定
式思维；而去申请另外一种Master，叫做Master of Professional Studies (MPS). 就

-10 years”
如果只是professionally growing的话我想我大概可以谈谈research；promote
students；teaching 和service
不过这个personally growing究竟是个什么意思呢？ 我能想到的就是这所学校所在的
城市非常不错，但是房价惊人，所以我可以强调希望我能在将来安家落户在这个城市因
为我很喜欢这里。。诸如此类？？
还是说可以大概忽略掉personally growing这个方面只谈professionally？

我在组里做的还不错。但是老板明显让我帮别人的次数大大增加了。经常让我给别人
review code,说是review,其实就是别人不会做的让我补上，关键是这样我拿不到那个
project的credit呀。还有一个印度人，上次让我帮他，code最难的部分是我给他写的
，剩下的我只要一个小时就能写完，他花了两天交上去照样是他的credit。还有一次给
他一个project擦屁股，我一周搞了六十个小时重新做，老板写review的时候，照样说

有一些industry news 报道了我的工作, 还有一些小破网站， Newsedge, Highbeam,verticalNews提
到了我的工作和名字。我写进了我的RFE responce letter。
In my denial letter, the IO stated that:" However, no evidence was submitted
to show that the media in which the articles appeared were professional
publications."
大牛们，请指点？
谁有HIghbeam, verticalNews 是professional publication 的证明信。
谁有证明信的模板？

证的时候，由于嫌麻烦，我一律都写no（后悔啊），不过在递140的时候，
professional society 是证据之一，这次在填485的时候有些犹豫，怕如果写了
professional society会和以前的矛盾，如果不写，又和交140的时候的申请材料对不
起来，不知道谁能帮忙出个主意好么？谢谢！ |
