"You might remember dc.home forum member joofei, who shared a bunch of wild
rumors about Fuji’s upcoming gear at the Chinese forum (see wild rumors 1
and wild rumors 2).
Well, he just shared some new information here at dc.home. Some sound very
weird… but I’ll just report them here and leave any considerations to you.
Joofei says that there could be 2 versions of the X-PRO2.

n December 16th Fuji Manager Mr. Kawahara said in this interview “if user
demand FF, really, I want to hear the reason why.” Well, it seems that the
reasons to put an FF sensor in the X-PRO2 did not convince the company.
In fact, the trusted Japanese source just told me that the X-PRO2 will
feature an APS-C sensor. At the moment, I do not have more details about it.
