是它的门边上次已经换新的了，所以就想只换door slab. 请问door slab 是否比
prehung door难装很多？

自己买个 prehung door 然后扒了 dry wall 装上去。
我昨天量了一下，我这个房间入口从 dry wall 到 dry wall 的距离是 35 5/8''。如
果 dry wall 是 1/2'' 厚的话，那么 rough opening 就是 36 5/8''，对吗？ 那就需
要买 34'' 宽的 prehung door。不过网上看到的不是 32'' 就是 36'' 的。 gezhi 大
侠你见过 34'' 的 prehung door 没有？谢谢！

发帖数: 38 | 6 说实在的，我觉得prehung的也不好弄 -- 如果是老房子，门四周的结构框架可不保证
是矩形的，可能连平行四边形都不是,那个prehung的门框也是软塌塌的。
钉shim时要保证做一个四四方方的门不是那么容易。
我觉得你先买一个门板装下试试，门框就先别动了。 |

make one for you, similar to the prehung kind from home depot or you can
make one yourself from wood.
I have made many non standard size and shaped doors myself, top round (
arched), top not level, all kind of strange shape that can not be bought.
In your case, you may not need a door sill.
You can build the header and jambs first, if you make a six panel door, make
the panels next, you can build the rails, muntin and s |

，还是就是门？门框不换？门框不换的话，需要找对锁的位置，稍微费点功夫，可能自
己要买plywood割门框。
你可以还价200 labor，其他都自己买。我估计他如果没活干，可能会答应，否则可以
自己干，其实换门也不难，如果是连框带门的，估计contractor最多2个小时。这个钱
太好赚了。
给你看看自己换的内门，一个是拿掉moulding，保留门框的，另一个是换好的新门，还要油漆。 |

，如果整个开口能正好fit下门框，就可以装那么大的门。 |

Yes, table saw is dangerous. I still remember when I used it for the
first time, I was very scared. I am still very careful when using it
now. Always keep your hands far away from the saw blade. Use a wood

关还是要花点时间的。可以自己试着弄，最差的情况就是自己做不了然后找师傅来。 |

even the two doors for the room next to each other, they do not match
the only way it will match is all the door in this apartment uses the
prehung door and they are the same brand and matches with each other
that will be something interesting to know for me

个最便宜的空心门样子最满意，还不到四十块钱，primer好的，但是需要自己刷漆。大
约三十磅重。类似的实心门有60磅重，homedepot也才卖不到50美元，也不贵，但也不
是全实木，估计是什么合成材料。 我买的是门板，不是prehung的门。买回来后，要把
门板上下左右都截去一点，切完后，发现只有左右两根木条，其他的都是类型原来纤维
板之类的合成材料。 怪不得卖的便宜。我原来的门也是空心的，但是至少木头多一些
。 不过这里廉价门刷完漆后，样子非常满意，外表非常好看，装上去感觉好多了，比
原来的那个单纯平板门从外表上看要好太多了。我其实不在乎是实心门还是空心的，是
不是全木头对我来说无所谓，只要外表好看就行。 这个门刷好漆外表很好，就是不知
道这种廉价材料能否影响使用寿命？ 因为这个门换的非常满意，所以想把家里其他的
室内门也都换了，不知道是应该买空心的还是实心的？因为价格都不是太贵。我比较倾
向与空心的，因为轻很多，换起来容易，而且我们家每个门都是两个合叶支持，如果换

便，因为门都是prehung 的，如果换框直接订上，要是换门的话，他们还得弄合页和锯
