反基的观点是如果上帝存在，那么这个世界必然是没有痛苦的，对吧？
既然现在有痛苦，那么上帝必然不存在，对么？
这个逻辑的前提是：上帝会毫无原则的为人类去除一切痛苦。
基督徒相信在亚当吃禁果前，人类是没有这种生离死别的苦难的。但是自从亚当吃了禁
果，痛苦就来到了这个世界。这是人自己选择了作恶导致的。
基督教的上帝是统治宇宙的，但是基督徒之间对上帝是如何统治的也有分歧。有人认为
上帝是一切事情的直接原因甚至说上帝创造了911。有人认为上帝几乎不闻不问。大多
数基督徒是认为上帝对某些事进行干预，某些事不干预。至于上帝管那些不管那些，只

“Does prayer lower blood pressure?”根据一个Observational study, 一周去一次
教会并祷告或者阅读圣经的人，和对照组相比，有高血压的可能性要小30%;那么，我们
能得出结论，"prayer lowers blood pressure"吗？
问题是其他的因素可能影响prayer/blood pressure这对factor of interest和effect
。 比如，a, 经常去教会的人可能更少抽烟或喝酒；b. 常去教会的人可能有一个更好
的social support系统；等等。这里的因素a或者b就是confounding factors。
换句话说，和prayer有关系的因素a(少抽烟喝酒)或b (有好的social support system)
都会影响blood pressure; 所以我们在这里无法建立prayer可以lower blood pressure
这个因果关系。

clause。因此和学校是否公立私立无关。关键在宗教上，因为是教会学校，原则上政府
不资助（有时资助课本可以）。宪法制定该条款的目的是政府不过多纠缠与宗教，对公
立学校的一些宗教方面的限制是基于不将宗教过早强加于孩子，而是孩子成人后自己做
