，holder都不用买，老美真热心啊，路上各种情况及时报道，我经常收到各种警告：前
方有警察蹲守，有车祸，有危险，有pothole。
Pothole这个警告太有用了，最倒霉的就是新车高速压到pothole，最严重的会爆胎，
RIM失圆， frame damage，我的新车是十九英寸的RIM更容易受损，这个冬天靠waze的
警告我已经躲过了好几次pothole了。也会尽量回馈社会，发报告很方便，手指在手机
前晃一下就激活声控了，一点不影响驾驶。 |

就注册去上课了，发现价格已经改了，是$19，
不过用promotion code (X2B-C8B-A94) 依然可以减少$2。
现在已经不能只是开着电脑耗时间了，我试着开机，但出去了3-4个小时，回来就要求
重新log in了。而且也不能直接参加final exam，必须答对各章的所有试题才能到达
final exam，而且各章的题目之后还有一题“security question”，就是问关于前面
学习材料中的图片、录像中的内容，所以还不得不点击看看，总共也需要不少时间。不
过有个节约时间的方法，就是先到问题的一页，看完问题再点击“previous”回到前一
页寻找答案，利用IE的“编辑”菜单下“查找（在当前页）”的功能可以快速定位。如
果中途log off再回来log in，得一页页翻过之前做过的章节，不过不需要重新做题就
是。到达上次退出地方，就自动加载之前这一章的内容。

效果，其余情况下感觉跟一般的豪华车没什么两样。比如说autoblog今天的评论：

snow, for instance) and it's really most effective over large disturbances

问题1：跟普通的车子相比，Corvette的框架太软了。
有人可能会惊讶：这是跑赛道很厉害的车子，怎么会框架软？实际上这两者本身没有必
然联系，没有说跑赛道成绩好的车子框架就一定要硬。赛道都是专门铺的状态很好的路
，总不可能有路上坑坑洼洼到处都是pothole的赛道吧？
在平坦的路上，Corvette跑得很好；但问题是日常我们跑的路路况都不好，尤其是加州
的缺乏修理的高速，路上很多小坑洼或者pothole。Corvette在上面跑的时候body flex
比较严重。这就是我之前一直强调的“抗扭刚度”问题（这个还分为torsional
rigidity和bending rigidity两种）。
Corvette这个抗扭刚度带来的第一个麻烦是车子开在路上，一有颠簸车里就有很多地方
发出磨擦杂音。比如说在停车场过bump的时候，有时能听到因为车架小幅度bending造
成窗玻璃跟顶棚的密封橡胶磨擦的声音；高速上遇到坑洼路段，车里各种内饰件相互磨
擦的声音也就出来了。
刚扭刚度低的另一个麻烦就是在普通公路行驶对车子操控性的影响。对于结构强和坚固

freeway上的pothole报告Caltrans,而local的报告给city.通常第2天最晚不超过一星期
就补好，这样造福大家。

昨天还是决定和LD一起去St. Croix river划船
一大早开车到Interstate state park/Taylor's Falls
一进门先去问Falls在哪?
人家说我们这地名叫Taylors Falls
其实现在没有Fall了...
然后只好走了走一个有glacial pothole的trail
真骗人啊!!!
有史以来走的最短的一个trail
那些号称世界上最大的pothole也没啥看头
基本就是一个洞
大部分还被水和土填满了
10点半左右来到canoe rental的地方
开始划船
因为准备划一段休息一段
钓钓鱼
晒晒太阳
所以选择了那段7miles的短途
昨天温度不高
水温还有点冰
不过坐在船上晒着太阳
也不觉得很冷
看看两岸的绿树
天上飞的老鹰
听听鸟叫
钓钓鱼
也还不错
总体来说昨天划船的人不多
因为我们划的慢
一直到下午2:30左右才到目的地
大概一天也就6-7艘canoe的样子
估计等天气再暖和一点以后人会多很多
昨天鱼情不佳
总归才被咬钩3次
跑了一条
上来一条小pike和一条14inch的smb

发帖数: 7844 | 28 新泽西路面的potholes真是名不虚传，普通的Hwy，55限速，并线超车时遇到一个特别
大的，一下子爆了两个。
不过也多亏是RFT，车速也只有55左右。车子几乎没有什么晃动，胎压灯马上就亮了。
然后路边停下来检查一下，两个轮胎各一个七八公分的伤口。然后继续开了大概
10miles到了附近的dealer去检查。
RFT轮胎的缺点也明显，很多tire shop没有现货。所以只能从dealer这里换了。205/55
/17的倍耐力P7，211一个，加90$ alignment。一共不到600。报保险要500$的
Deductible，所以算了。自掏腰包了。
BTW：在NJ遇到pothole爆胎其实可以找警察，要到police report可以填写一个表格申
请reimbursement，今天太着急没空等警察了，所以只能忍了... ...打算明天去爆胎的
地点再去叫一次警察，看看能不能补一个report。报销要等3到6个月，而且还可能不批。 |

州已经算不错的了，只是搓板而已，因为天气好道路维护成本相对较低，所以potholes
不多。加州中国人多所以才这里抱怨的多。美国只有没什么人的小镇路才比较好。
这真没什么好比的。论高速network覆盖面，目前美国胜。论道路维护质量，中国胜。 |

由于叔家附近有几段必经之路路况极差，各种井盖和pothole,
开Carrera这种底盘低的车要格外小心。
大坑深井盖必须躲，小坑浅井盖躲不开的要慢行。
总之什么必须躲，什么要缓行，什么可以直接开过去，全凭经验和临场感觉（比如开车
心情，副驾有没有人）

关以后一下子从发展中国家水平变成了没有pothole的平整路面。我个人宁愿是多交点
税也要公费医疗还有好的基础设施，不过年轻的时候工资低欲望大花钱地方多，不想再
交税也正常

还要收你12刀. 过GWB和Holand tunnel动不动就是45分钟,一个小时等待. 加上路面那
个差啊,到处是坑, pothole比胖黑妞的屁股都大,还就是所有开车的都横冲直撞.
你要是自己开车的话还找不到趴车的地方.

冬天一个大雪下来就是几英尺.夏天动不动就来个90度.
你再有空的话,晚上去brooklyn 和Bronx去转转,那里的老黑肯定会非常热情的用洋花生
米跟你打招呼.
然后当地政府收的税还是全美最高的那种.还不允许Walmart在当地开店.
