you can download postscript driver. at least you can use
ghostview to see it.
the problem i have now is that sometimes i cannot use mpage
to arrange the multiple page layout. anyway the driver is

8.2 EPS文件格式
EPS是Encapsulated PostScript的缩写，是PostScript中文件中的一种变体。在讲
EPS文前，先来讲讲PostScript文件格式及其功能。
PostScript既是一种计算机语言，也是一种用于打印机输出的控制语言。在
PostScript语言中，包含有多种图形操作命令，通过这些操作命令，可以进行画线，画圆
，而且还可以将图像进行旋转、裁剪等。这些命令可以用任何方式进行组合，将简单的操
作命令组合成一些复杂的函数和过程。
PostScript语言有很多种版本，其中，用于计算机屏幕显示的Display PostScript
扩展版本是当前相当好的和应用比较多的一种显示图形语言。PostScript语言是一种逆波
兰语言，它的运算符参数必须放在运算符的前面。在很多的方面，它和FORTH语言很相似
。

在mac下，选print, save as postscript file, pdf 格式也可以，不过有些时候会出
问题，因为pdf不完全是矢量图。

which is a subset of postscript that describe only one
page of graphics.
eps files gives you bounding box, which is what LaTeX want and
is not available in postscript files.
You are using a old package to inport graphics into LaTeX.
The better way is to use graphicx package whihc is available
from CTAN(ctan.tug.org).
The syntax to change size is:
\includegraphics[height=4cm]{file.eps}
\includegraphics[width=3in]{file.eps}

字体和字号，不知道如何改。
不知道帖子中能否加URL链接，Google form I-485就可以找到这个表格。
我用的是Adobe Acrobat Pro 9，先试了Adobe LiveCycle Designer，但这个I-485文件
要求密码才能打开。
后来又想把这个文件打印成PDF文件，然后用Adobe Acrobat Pro 的typewriter工具来
填。可是在打印成PDF文件的过程中出现错误信息：
This PostScript file was created from an encrypted PDF file.
Redistilling encrypted PDF is not permitted.
这个文件倒是可以 Export成非加密的PostScript文件，可是在打开那个PostScript文
件是也出现上面那个错误信息
不知道那位大侠有什么方法？

select 'print...'. Check 'print to file'
Important: click 'properties', click 'advanced', expand 'postscript options

Maybe it is useful to download truetype font as outline.

可有两个图放进latex后就转了90度
试着选ORIENTATION似乎也没用

发帖数: 26819 | 16 经常能碰到某些中文PDF在阅读器上缺少内嵌字体而显示乱码。可以用Acrobat Pro软件
将所需字体完整嵌入PDF。
首先将PDF文件save as PostScript，输出时打开settings，General->Font Inclusion
里选择Embedded and Referenced Fonts。然后用Adobe Distiller打开PS文件，输出成
PDF，即可。
另外，某些PDF在save as PostScript时会报错：drawing error。这时换用另一个方法，
首先在File->Properties里可以看到该PDF哪些字体没有内嵌。然后在Advanced->
Preflight->PDF fixup->Embed Fonts->Fonts里，把那些图标改成i，之后用Add按钮把
未内嵌的字体一一加上，再analyze and fix，即可。 |

路由器其实就是个 LP， 提供网络 USBLP 的端口。
但是往这个端口灌什么内如，如何灌是要靠本地打印驱
动的。如果打印机支持标准的 postscript，那网络
打印机驱动好找，基本上找个类似的机器就可以了。
但是如果打印机不是用标准的 postscript，并且不
提供网络驱动。那就麻烦了。很多时候没法网络打印，
是因为不知道如何把文件变成打印机可以接受的语言，
也就是说，没有驱动。
那个 USB 的驱动没法用在网络上。
我有个 MFC8500 折腾了半天也不果。Linux 有
驱动但是源程序不全，没法 port 到路由器上。
最简单还是直接搞个网络的打印机，网络扫描什么都
支持。 |

printer---even it's not physically connected to your PC, you
can use either the driver coming with the printer, or download one from
Adobe's website. Then, in the printer set up, change postscript to level 2,
choose "download all the fonts" option. The resulting file would be much

but specify "print to file". You will get a PRN file which
is actually a PostScript file. Rename the PRN file with an
EPS extension and edit it in notepad so that it has the
correct header, and bounding box information if they are

关于Origin 图形打印输出到EPS文件，以前用的是Windows 98，随便装一个PS打印机，打
印到文件就能得到合适的EPS文件。
但是系统改用Windows 2000 或 XP 后，打印输出的EPS文件总是超出了边界，图形不在页
面的中间，有一部分看不到。
打印机的postscript选项为：内嵌的Postscript (EPS)。
请各位大侠分析一下问题出在哪儿。 |

注意安装时选port是print to file的。然后在打印机advanced options中把
postscript output options改成 Encapsulated PostScript。
之后就方便了，不管什么程序生成的图，表，直接在程序里选打印,用这个
HP打印驱动，出来的文件就是eps file了。直接可以用，偶尔可能要用gsview
调调边框。 |

2) print the figure from visio to a file using postscript printer.
3) use gsview to open the file and convert it to .eps file.

properties->deselect "do not send fonts to adobe pdf"
then goto paper/quality tab->advanced->document options->postscript output
option->Encapsulated postscript->ok->ok again
then choose “print to file”-> print-> type a file name such as "a.eps"
Then the file "a.eps" will be in the same folder.
However, the bounding box is usually not ok to put in latex.
You need to change the bounds for the pics by finding coordinates in gsview. |

王选的照排硬件上完全没有原创，软件上核心的创新是矢量字库，但是矢量字库本身早
就有了，最著名的postscript一直用了几十年现在还是工业标准，只不过当时的中文市
场太小没有人做中文矢量字库，王选填补了这个空白而已，技术上和其他文字的字体处
