A divided U.S. appeals court struck down a federal ban on political
advertising on public TV and radio stations, a decision that could open the
public airwaves to a heavy dose of campaign ads leading up to the November

by Jed Babbin
The Newtown, Connecticut massacre of children has changed the gun control
debate to an extent no other event has in decades. One of the reasons it has
had such an effect is that it came at the time when liberals are at the
height of their power and conservatives — and Republicans — are at their
lowest ebb. It also came at a time when the maneuvers between House Speaker
John Boehner and President Obama over solving the “fiscal cliff” crisis

Before I went to the US many years ago, I firmly believed that democracy is
the major reason that leads to the power and prosperity of the United States
. However, after staying several years in the US, I realized the problems in
democracy: in order to rise to power, politicians would do anything to
please the general public, many of whom are not rational, and even selfish.
I also realized that many other democratic countries are actually poor and
chaotic.

Yes--that is correct. Technically according to the protestant beliefs,
Church should not interfere with state and vice versa--
Literally your pastor should not talk about politics at all in church at
least not during sermons.
But your pastor is a lot more important and personal to you than your
political advisors--because he/she is the person that is suppose to help you
take care of your soul.
