和我们一起share手机Plan的一个family最近由于个人原因不打算续约了，因此我们打
算把我们的Sero Plan中的Family Share分享两个给信得过的版友。
先说一下这个Plan的优势
1 这是最老的Sero Plan， 我们已经用了10年， 其中换iPhone后用了5年了，$55/月
per line， including unlimited everything. call, text, data , also limited
roaming (100MB/Month，根据官方信息). 注意这是tax included，没有任何其他
surcharge，所以不要和我说“sprint官网才60刀”，那个加上tax以后已经超过75了。
2 这个plan是可以以折扣价买手机包括iPhone的，当然如果你要买Android或者其他的
也没任何问题。目前包括sprint在内的各大厂商已经不给用户提供折价手机了，参见这

周日人就多多了。现在给大家简单讲一下海洋公园的Dinning Plan。
这个Dinning Plan是大人$33刀，小娃$17一个人，3岁以下免费。买了Dinning Plan的
每人带一个手环，就可以在公园里面5个Resturant随便吃。公园里面的饭当然不会太好
吃，而且贵。一般Kids Meal 6刀一份，大人一个主食10刀左右，可乐和水都是靠近3刀

Pet Plan提供的保险有3个参数可以选择：deductible（$50, $100, $200）、co-pay（
80%、90%、100%）、Level（bronze、silver、gold），所以总共有27种plan可选。这
里以一个5岁的DSH猫（2008年出生）为例，选用Bronze level，计算各种deductible/
co-pay组合的性价比（共9种plan）。我个人认为没必要选silver或者gold，所以
silver／gold比bronze多出来的服务是否划算我就不讨论了。

首先要明确的是，traditional family/individual plan vs mobile share.
这个是monthly voice/text/data charge怎么算。
其次是怎么买电话：full price no contract; NEXT; contract phone。
上面的两种plans都可以用这三种方式买电话！不要把怎么买电话跟哪类plan搞混！
再明确一点购机价：full price = NEXT，contract合同机减$450，两年合同。
NEXT免activation fee $40 （有些同学别的也可以免掉）
然后看哪类plan用哪种购机方式合算：
traditional plan, 合同机非合同机月费没区别！买合同机相比全价机便宜$450。
合同机缺点：锁两年，提前换机麻烦。除非你有特殊需要否则一定是合同机合适。最差你
买合同机回来卖掉继续用你现有的电话或者别处买的。不然你白给ATT多交钱。

以我现在的学校要求是yearly/semester plan, weekly plan, and daily plan (新教
师要求详案)。
Yearly/semester plan 很笼统，也就是大致给出个方向。
Weekly plan 要求提前一周写好，并将简要概括（时间，授课内容，作业）提前一周发
布在学校主页的parents-teacher message board 上。Weekly plan 统领一周工作的方
向，同时也为自己赢得充分的准备material 的时间。相信大家都经过了training, 所
以我就不罗嗦该如何具体书写了，但是有几个要点在准备weekly plan 的时候一定要注
意。1. 提前复印Hands-out. 我们学校复印的cycle是24 hours. 为了保证能在想用资
料的时候有资料可用，我一般提前一周搞定。 2.核实Lab. 如果要用lab， 我一定要
提前预订并核实。3. 备份一张放在emergency folder 里存档。

一年多合同才到期。申请了citi AT&T access more卡，用那个citi提供的买手机的
link，选了Existing wireless customer add a new phone，然后选Add a device to
a Mobile Share group。选完后出现iphone 6 plus选项，价格是$749.99，到了选手机
plan的时候，最便宜的plan也要$60。

Senate新的health care plan可以支持了。
1）对富人的两个税没有取消（$400,000以上的investment tax, $200,000以上的
medicare tax）。取消这两个税对GOP来说就是政治自杀，坐实了支持富人反对穷人的
名声。现在不取消，是对的。
2）Cruz amendment，保证了有一个便宜的，不支持pre-existing condition的plan可
买。对无灾无病的年轻人的负担有很大减轻。
这两个症结解除了，剩下的都是细节问题。看好这个bill通过。
其他细节(我把174页的bill都翻了一遍）：
1）从Obamacare的所有移民均可享受福利，改为前五年移民不能享受healthcare
subsidies福利。

family plan合同。
现在合同提早3个月可以upgrade了，但登录之后发现再也没有这个renew 2年买打折的
iphone的选项了。只有最下面拷贝过来的3个选项。客户也说ATT一年前开始不再提供打
折的iphone了。
我的family plan是550min，而且first line的voice和data有20%的corporate
discount，所以一直没换成mobile share之类的plan，因为不觉得比我原先的family
plan便宜。这个family plan已经保持了快十年，ATT老推荐我其他plan我都没换，算是
一个“钉子户”了。
不知道版上还有family plan的童鞋吗？你们没有了2年合同便宜iphone的选项，plan就
不再划算了，打算怎么处理？投奔其他家了？推荐一下哪一家更好？

1）对富人的两个税没有取消（$400,000以上的investment tax, $200,000以上的
medicare tax）。取消这两个税对GOP来说就是政治自杀，坐实了支持富人反对穷人的
名声。现在不取消，是对的。
2）Cruz amendment，保证了有一个便宜的，不支持pre-existing condition的plan可
买。对无灾无病的年轻人的负担有很大减轻。
这两个症结解除了，剩下的都是细节问题。看好这个bill通过。
其他细节(我把174页的bill都翻了一遍）：
1）从Obamacare的所有移民均可享受福利，改为前五年移民不能享受healthcare
subsidies福利。
2) State stability and innovation funds. 50 billion解决2019-2021过渡期的各州
coverage问题。1年20 billion支持各州在healthcare上创新（2019-2021有所减少因为

现在我在一个family plan里面，我GF在另外一个family plan里面。我们都是ATT。下
个月我们俩的两年contract都到期了。plan里的其他人要退出。我想问：
1.我们能合并成一个family plan吗？
2.我们能在ATT自家保留号码开新的family plan吗？（想换手机）
3.我们能在别家保留号码开新的family plan吗？

发帖数: 4904 | 40 最近在写research plan，搜了不少相关教材，感觉挺有收获。大致来说，作者们都说
research plan在申请中分量很重，需要下大工夫精心写。我估量了一下，写包括3个
project左右的plan花的精力（主要是反复思考的脑力）确实远大于写个NIH R21之类的
proposal，也远大于写篇文章。当然如果这个对找工作非常重要，那都是值得的。不过
最近又跟一些人聊起，他们说其实这个plan没那么重要，committee还是更看重你从哪
个组出来，你的publication，funding以及是否刚好fit他们的专业缺口。反过来，如
果research plan写的过于detail，有可能人家并不招你，但是看过plan的人有意无意
借鉴你的思路，等你一年后到别处入职时候，人家做了一年了（或者用你的方法，或者
针对你的目标，总之不必和你的proposal完全一致）。
于是我有了个疑问，到底Research Plan写的质量在faculty位置申请中分量到底多重？
如果写的比较具体，到底以后因为别人先做了自己没机会做这个方向的风险大不大？

我们有个verizon的family plan马上要散伙了，里面有两个号是grandfathered
unlimited data plan，平时出差比较有用，甚至放在家里或办公室当路由器都可以。
因为现在这种data service已经买不到了，直接取消挺可惜的，几个人一商量，觉得可
以转让给需要的人。需要的过户手续，这个可以到verizon大厅或者客服电话里办，应
该不难。
plan共有700 free minutes，现在5个号码，3个有data plan，2个没有data plan，总
共花费大概是60(basic charge)+30 (with data service)*3+10 (without data
service)*2+tax+other大概总共每个月200刀。当然了你可以选择去掉几个号码。

根据我们公司三个plan来算的:CDHP、PPO和EPO（没有HMO可选），地点是纽约
输入输出都设置好了，应该可以应用到很多不同的plan的比较
初步结论：
1. 如果每年医疗费用在$3,000以下，不如不买保险，自费更划算。医疗保险其实主要
保护你突发性或者大额的医疗支出而已。 （已考虑保险公司跟service provider的议
价能力，其实自费时也可以跟医生议价，所以两者抵消）
2.保费便宜的plan更好，尽管high deductible。可以通过放HSA(Health Saving
Account)来抵消，反正可以carry over到明年。
3.如果打算要生孩子，似乎用最贵的plan划算？

这个月从individual plan 加入朋友的family plan
但是individual plan 这个月的帐单已经出了。
加入family plan之后，就看不到原来帐户的信息了，
该如何付这个月的payment？？？我原来都是在线payment的
这个月费用是怎么算的？？
有人遇到过这种情况吗？？ |

发帖数: 11 | 44 我已经把原来的10GB mobile share plan ($120 + $30 per line) 换成了新的 10GB
mobile share value plan ($100 + $15 per line)
我的plan里面9条线都是在2-year contract里面，每条线都有$25/month的discount.我
在换成新的plan之后，已经和客服确认了2遍，现在的账户里有这个discount
而且AT&T主页的FAQ里面明确写了：
