what. Greinke is not mentally tough enough. I watched the one game playoff
between Min and KC last season, Greinke pitched scared and lost the game...4
ER in 6 Innings, 96 pitches. To me, he is not the pitcher I will choose
when the game is on the line...not even close.
btw, I think the best pitcher in the MLB right now is Roy Halladay, who
never pitched for the BoSox or NYY, so... |

a more extended throwing session before the game starts, compared to
relievers.
but you are right, once a starting pitcher goes on the mound, regardless of
how many pitches he throws or how long he lasts, he usually needs a 4-day
rest after that. starters and relievers have quite different routines. that'
s why you don't switch them back and forth between the rotation and bullpen,
unless you are the yankees and have job |
