在Pfizer 危机(3)-2010年三月Lipitor的专利期满一文中，我曾提到Pfizer曾试图将
Lipitor和另外一个的升高好胆固醇的新药做成 combination pill,以延长Lipitor的专
利期，但是该新药在临床试用中失败，导致Pfizer不得不撤下该药的事情。这件事情对
于Pfizer来说是一颗重磅炸弹。这究竟是怎么一回事呢。
这个产品就是Torcetrapib。市面上的治疗胆固醇问题的药物，都是降低“坏胆固醇”(
也就是低密度脂蛋白-LDL)的。在升高“好胆固醇” (也就是高密度脂蛋白-HDL)这一方
面，Torcetrapib是无出其右的。从科学实验的发现到生产药片，花了Pfizer近15年的
时间。
1990 的时候，有人发表文章说升高“好胆固醇”可以有助于降低心脏病的危险。1993
年，Pfizer终于找到了一种可以升高HDL的、并具有临床潜力的化合物。经过一番的改

Exubera。
Exubera是Pfizer和法国药商Sanofi-Aventis(世界第三大制药商)以及生化公司Nektar
Therapeutics共同研发的。商品名称的寓意在于服用了之后能够恢复exuberance--健康
和活力。Exubera 其实就是治疗I型和II型糖尿病(即胰岛素依赖型糖尿病和非胰岛素依

最近基本是无头苍蝇在到处撞，知道版上大牛很多，求大牛们分享一下comments
求推荐质量好的，比较好用的pipeline, 如果有教程最好
背景是这样的，会写R；php勉强会一点；目前比较倾向用biocondunctor的package
目前基本还是小打小闹，十几个到几十个样品，以后可能会有比较大量的，不过这个不
着急；工具是一个普通速度的PC，如果确定我能把bioinfo这块做起来可以考虑投资一
些硬件。
老板化学背景，周围人基本都是wet lab或者学医的出身，基本提供不了帮助
谢谢！
