在XP下面，ping yahoo.com总是回来同一个IP，但是在CentOS下IP却变化。看后面的具
体例子。大家给解释一下怎么回事？
本来的问题是我发现在centos下面我有时能连上某个网站，一会儿就可能连接不上。我
ping了一下就发现这个不同了。连接不上的原因是因为同一个网站的某个IP ping不通
，100% packet loss。 怎么解决这个问题？
在XP下面，ping yahoo.com总是回来同一个IP

但是无线客户端没法被ping通
无线可以ping到有线，有线就没法ping到无线 （单向能ping通）
有线之间可以ping通，无线之间就ping不通
windows/linux下的出错信箱是destination unreachable, mac下是timeout
路由是默认设置，Wireless的模式是AP,bridged. 所以的端口和Wireless都在同一个
VLAN上
有人知道是怎么回事吗？ |

Inmarsat画出了一个大圈说是MH370失联后的7个多小时里，在这个圈子里面。
Inmarsat是一个卫星通讯公司，马航的飞机通常使用 Inmarsat进行联系。正常情况下
，如果没有地面基站覆盖，MH370用 Inmarsat的卫星发射所在位置等关键飞机参数。3
月8日1：20以后，飞机停止发送数据，但是与卫星联系的通讯系统还是正常运行的。
现在做一个比喻，把卫星比做联通基站，飞机必做你的手机。联通有很多基站，有
人拨打你的手机号码时，联通并没有把信号送到所有的基站，只送到你所在城市的基站
。这样，联通就需要知道你的大致位置，基站会定期“ping”你的手机，看看你在哪个
基站的覆盖范围，如果有人拨打你的号码，就把信息送到特定基站就可以了，而不是浪
费资源送到所有基站。 Inmarsat的卫星也在做这样的事，就是每隔一小时“ping”一
下飞机，看看是在哪个卫星的服务区内。3月8日2：40到8：40总共“ping”了7次。就

头的，就一点手感也没有。就是对swing要求高（当然ET没问题），miss sweet spot对
距离很有影响，但是好操纵。我家球手用了一年，越来越喜欢。
跟ping工厂在一个城市，和教练一起去过三次ping factory fitting center 去fit球
杆,试过各种ping，一开始就看上了s56，主要是杆头和她以前一路成长用过的很相近。
iron选了regular length shaft 加red dot （比regular black flat一点点），然后
根据swing speed选了一种flex轻钢shaft。
S56的lie angle， ping工厂说会免费给调。
不满意的地方就是， ping从来不降价，没有sale！
s56 新一代好像叫s55。 |

There is this person on ICQ, I can see his IP, however, when I ping it,
it always give me time out. I have tried both domain name ping and IP ping.
All timeout... He uses dialup and I am sure he is not using any firewall
or some sort... The IP that I have must be the correct one. However, I can
still msg him and send him files via ICQ etc...
Somebody told me when the computer is heavily loaded, sometimes you can't
ping them even it is still online, just like you get "ping time out"

的确。我今天看几个西岸的战友都是100ms+的ping值，我在东岸，互相都没法选ping值
低的服务器。想想中部的服务器应该对大家比价折中，可惜服务器很多不标地方。
然后正好碰到prisoner在中部，好几次他选了个对他ping值低的服务器，在芝加哥，我
发现我的ping值也很不错（~50ms），大爽。两人都不用愁。
我估计西岸的战友也会是一样的情况，鼓励以后群战让中部（中西部应该也行）的同学
找服务器，或者找标题写着中部州的。
夏威夷的话，我想可能还是西岸的服务器比较靠谱，中西部的速度没准能接受。

Yes, it's true! I'm the author of ping for UNIX. Ping is a little
thousand-line hack that I wrote in an evening which practically everyone seems
to know about. :-)
I named it after the sound that a sonar makes, inspired by the whole principle
of echo-location. In college I'd done a lot of modeling of sonar and radar
systems, so the "Cyberspace" analogy seemed very apt. It's exactly the same

有一台PC很就没用了，重装了RH linux启动后，能够用hostname ping其他任何机器。但
其他机器都不能用hostname ping这台机器，但可以用IP
ping这台机器。是什么原因？DNS配置有问题吗？如何解决？谢谢 |

we designed embedded board, running basic linux,
no fancy stuff (e.g. network manager).
it has 2 ethernet ports: eth0, eth1
1. plugin cable to eth1, restart board.
it comes back, eth1 is alive, i can ping it.
2. move the cable from eth1 to eth0,
run "udhcpc --reties 4 -n -q -i eth0"
ifconfig shows eth0 now has a valid ip addr, also it's UP.
3. but i cannot ping eth0
4. if i start with eth0, can ping eth0.
move to eth1, then cannot ping eth1.

得具体看哪款。几百是肯定没问题，上千也有可能。Ping的古董推杆主要看zip code，
公司名字（Ping Golf > Karsten Manufacture Co > Karsten），还有最关键的是看

about tennis (recreational, of course). Although tennis technique is way
different from Ping-Pong, I still find my Ping-Pong skill very helpful in
picking up tennis balls.

make sure when you ping the server name, the ping command at least can
successfully resolve the name to ip. |

路由是 32MB的，勉强够用，bt再多也不会弄死的，但是ping 也就一般。
现在 wifi 打游戏觉得ping高了不爽，
请问是换更高端的wifi 网卡，还是走powerline ethernet?
powerline ethernet 没用过，按理说是有线，ping应该能好点
但是网上review 有说好有说坏的，不知道这里有没有用过的同学
台式机网卡貌似没有高端的。 笔记本的 pci-e 的还有 bigfoot |

怀疑是砖了,又费劲做了一遍。
结果在家里是能ping通的.
这不带到office接着搞。
可是又ping不通了。当然ip地址没错。
自然也就不能putty走下去了。
这个被router分配了地址又(只在office)ping不通

而且我ping别人没有问题，而别人ping不通我。
因为感染的是VBS-REDLOF.A病毒，因此牵涉到好多htm文件和Kernel文件。
上述原因也不知道是少或破坏了那个文件？
以前一直没有问题的。 |

載速度很慢。但如果是Ping時間很短但下載很慢是怎麼回事？
我一般都不下載，只看看PPStream。最近發現PPStream經常很卡，下載速度只有
200kbps，根本看不了。我是不是被另一個人限制網速了？請問有什麼辦法麼？應該怎
