我想，情节对于《枕草子》是不重要的。导演的目的是想表现
他对于视觉艺术，特别是东方的视觉艺术的理解，这个理解可
以依附于许多不同的框架，而导演正好选了这一个。我相信完
全可以基于不同的故事来表现这一切。
事实上故事本身相当单纯：父亲将书法灌输入女儿的血液，女
儿一生中最重要的也就是这两件事情。1探索书法的美，而这种
美是和父亲在自己身上写字分不开的。我认为，父亲在女儿身上
写字同时也有一种性的意味。2复仇。片中女儿对于父亲是有恋
父情结的，她认为是出版商玷污了他的父亲。复仇是她一生中最
迫切的愿望。由于1，女儿迷恋于在男人身上写字作画，由于2
她终于利用书法将出版商杀死。
