I can't agree more.
I was in similar shoes as LZ. Looking for answers/solutions for a long time.
I believed "random kindness" (still do), improving self to make the world
better place (like another person suggested in the post). It made some days
better, but it would not solve the issues for me.
I am a physician myself (not in psych). I did look for solution from
psychology (cognitive and behavioral). It did not work for my problems.

homophobia.
据说这个词是由homo+phobia组成的,并它理解成the hatred or fear of homosexuals.
文盲了,这词只有Homo 没有sex,老GAY们要能在没有sex的情况下生活,就是正常人了.
其实恐同这就是个风车,老GAY虽然恶心,但有谁去诚心恨或还怕它呢?根本不值得,所谓
的反同人士,充气量是把老GAY恶心的真实想法公开表达,这个感觉就跟看臭虫一样,谁能

phobia。虽然这种人嘴上一直在说想结婚，想安定，甚至他们自己也以为真是这么希望的。但实际上他
们却总是故意找那些最没有希望发展出结果的一类人。最typical就是比如找一个long distance的
对象。仔细回想一下，你过去的经历是不是这样的？无关对方的真实条件，往往是有可能跟你发展出结
果的人你条件反射一样地排除掉，而一望而知很难有结果的人反而给他很多机会放入很多感情。而当跟
这种人不能work out时，你一方面觉得痛苦，一方面潜意识里其实却放轻松了，因为你又回到了你的
