room ticket from the furtherest row (there are also orchestra standing room
tickets at 20 bucks a piece, which is supposedly much better, but those were
sold out). The sound quality was still better good from the back, but
should have brought opera glasses next time. It was all sung in English and
every seat is fitted with a screen that displays subtitles.

fast SSD like intel X25/18, OCZ Vertex, your SSD performance will go down
instead of going up.
1.XP still can sleep with fat32
2. I have installed XP/win7 in many SSD, including low speed or high speed
intel X18-m G2, the SSD performanc between XP and Win7 is very close. If you see big differnce, sth is wrong.

1. C和Fortran其实并不具可比性。C应该是算中级语言，而Fortran是高级语言。
也就是说，理论上上讲Fortran能干的事C全能干。我相信Fortran的compiler
很大部分应该是用C写的。所以，当你说Fortran支持Variable-size matrix时，
马上就有人能给你找出一个C的library来support这个功能。好，你说Fortran
支持复数计算，C高手立刻就能给你现写一个complex class支持所有你想要的
任何manipulations on complex numbers. 关键是你觉得那个更方便呢？
2. Fortran其实很容易学，有点编程语言基础的两三天就能上手用。再有多
两三个星期实践一下，Fortran的程序基本就能看懂了(当然前提是算法你已经
懂了)。这么简单，而且同行都在用，学学无防啊。
3. 这个有点老生长谈了。就是很多科学计算的老程序都是Fortran写的，都是
身经百战的，绝对bug-free。你非要用C把这些东西从写一遍，别人也没办法。

比较是比较Apple和orange。
tableau是一个能很快viz 数据或你的idea的工具。 它有很多局限。 但他升级很快。
老钟总是绝的自己很technical就牛逼。 但实际上，你离core business 越近越牛。
tableau 让那些懂点数据但懂很duobusiness的人越过IT部门。viz他们的poc.
他们可以和管理层有很好的沟通。 这样他们就有跟多升值机会。
Tableau 只是个工具。它会变得更便宜。 用的人会更多。tableau server 也是很方便
。但performanc没有自己开发的网页快。 但网页 Js charts开发需要更多的时间和人
力。适合于开发好的产品。 tableau适合于poc 或 没有IT support 的Team。

感谢碳大帮助，终于大概了解到了一些怎么评价跑车引擎的线索。前几天写了一篇文章
，虽然不能说是完全错误，但是好像给不少朋友造成了很多疑问。今天就把我的现在的
理解简单写下来，希望以后大家不要犯同样的错误。顺便给我造成的疑惑道歉。
评价引擎performance的指标有好几个。一般人用0-60的时间。假设有两个车红线都是7
500rpm，用相同的6变速手动变速箱，来比赛0-60。每次都是红线换档。假设每次红线换
档以后，在下一档rpm掉到4500转左右。（事实上根据临近档位齿轮比，掉在4000rpm-5
000rpm附近。）那么哪个车跑得快，关键在于rpm在4500-7500之间的扭矩表现。假如rp
m是横轴，扭矩是纵轴，每个引擎有一个rpm-扭矩的曲线。一般来说，哪个引擎的曲线比
