Spent some time generating this kind of charts from raw data. There might be
better ways of doing so, but I would just post my method and 抛砖引玉。

1. 两组数如果混合起来，即变成一组数的话，这组混合数的STD等于什么？如果我假设
原来两组数的true variance1=true variance2, 我可以用pooled standard deviation
当成这组混合数的STD吗？即Sp=sqrt(((n1-1)*(s1)^2+(n2-1)*(s2)^2)/(n1+n2-2))
2. 有可能求出混合组的10％，25％，50％，75％，95％的percentile吗？如果我假设
混合组的10％percentile应该在y1组和y2组的10％percentile之间，简单求两个
percentile的平均数合适吗，是不是应该考虑n1,n2 （或者s1,s2?).

问题如下：
1. percentiles中，加入2007年我发表了4篇文章，总引用是88次，单篇最大引用56次
，我怎么算这个percentiles，是88/4=22为2007年的percentiles还是56为2007年的
percentiles？最后一项的all years怎么计算的？
2. field rankings,假设我发了10篇文章，引用200次，就是说的我的文章单篇引用20
次，方向属于材料，就是说我的单篇引用是专业方向的3倍？
3. 为什么在high cited papers （in 10 years）,查询不到我的文章？在我发表的杂
志中的high cited papers中，超过48次都算high cited papers，我的56次却没有查到
，为什么？

你只知道那个数，不知道位置，如何计算？

那R21的new investigator 13 percentile 有没有可能被fund呢？还是说按照7th
percentile cutoff，完全没有希望了呢？

2. 还有那个percentile，我的paper是关于biosensor的，按理说属于engineering的范
畴，但是所在的journal 《Biosensors and Bioelectronics》被SJR归在了
electrochemistry的范畴，被Thompson Reuter归在了biology的范畴，那我能否套用
Thompson Reuter那个percentile列表中的engineering的percentile呢（因为
Engineering的percentile更好看一些）？

performance metrics，对每个metric根据两个组的表现在行业中的排名得到一个
percentile（1-100），然后根据事先确定的加权把所有的percentile值相加得到一个

在2012 ESI Percentile表上，
chemistry类别,1%对应2010,2011,2012和All years分别是30,10,2和101
我有篇文章07年发的，总引102,但是2010只有19次引用,2011有12次，2012有6次
这样子的话，2011,2012和all years我都算1%
但问题是我可以只比较2011,2012和all years数据来说明是top1%吗？直接忽略2010?
还是说我得算我所有文章的平均引用？有些文章引得多，把引得少的算进去惨不忍睹噢

最好是排在1%比较好。
你的情况就不要提这个percentile比较好，做个柱状图和average citation rate 来比
吧，并且用其他闪光点来支持文章的影响力！ |

ISI percentiles是比较单篇文章吗？但是如果当年发表了3篇文章，其中一篇的引用在
1%以上，另外两篇在10%以下，那也算这一年引用数在1%以上吗？

如果进入了1%，也肯定是esi中high cited paper （10 years），一下子就有2个闪光

表的所有文章相比的percentile。
刚才进一步查了一下，ISI percentiles是对你的任何一篇文章(不管哪一年发表的)，
那个%数是这篇文章在选择的年的引用数在所在领域的百分比，想确认一下，谢谢了！ |

另我的EB1a 140 RFE情况：
我的case是XM0100 (TSC)审的，contribution没有过，承认了authorship和review。
1.
XM100对我的RFE request像是一个模板回复，我考古了一下和别人的很像，似乎没有细
看我的case。
其中提到了我的引用，要我列出独立引用。 但他没有指出我的引用太低（不到100）。
我想列出所有独立引用的title，作者（从google scholar打印），
