I need your precious input on this potential job position. Seminis, a
subsidiary seed company of Monsanto located in Oxnard, CA,offered me a one-
year contact job with $25 per hour and 40 hours'workload per week (yearly $
52,000). I was wondering if it is good to live in Southern CA with the
maximal salary they can offer.
P.S. I will graduate in this coming winter with my master degree. I just

发帖数: 89 | 3 Thank you guys for pointing out my typo mistake and giving me suggestions. I
think there are some opportunities out there in the future after talking to
a Chinese research scientist at Monsanto who is going to be my direct boss.
FYI, I am going to do some technical work for the newly created group at
Monsanto. Although I work for Monsanto, I will be paid by the third party,
that is the search company.
Any input for the contract job? Thank you in advance.

掐指一算已有大半年没在家办过party了，依稀记得上次还是今年过年时聚会的，当时
自己还住在1442－k。
自从从密北回来，觉得自己平时单调的生活多了一丝生机，每到周末都能和当时游玩的
朋友一起玩玩，吃吃饭什么的，我觉得这样挺好。上上周和他们约定好Halloween之夜
在我家办个party，大家在一起吃吃饭，杀杀人等。之后就开始着手联系身边的朋友，
照最初的估计，大约20人被邀请，当然住在附近的要求来时带个拿手菜，这样也好减轻
我的负担。趁举办party之际，自己也添置了一些常用设施，像这周四晚上低价买到的
饭桌，微波炉，咖啡壶和烤架。一时间似乎自己空荡荡的客厅满当了起来，也更有了家
的氛围。
天公作美，这个周末天气晴朗，温度较往年要高一些，更显得晚秋Michigan之美。周五
下午下课后无心呆在实验室就找个借口回来准备party了。依照事前的计划，我准备四
个菜，老醋花生米，木耳肉片，水煮鱼 |
