于大学城区域内，紧临宾大，过了路口即为牙医学院。
三月初可以入住，七月底可以续租。房东为美国老太太。
房租：三间卧室月租1200刀，含暖气（冬季暖气超足，夏季也不会特别闷热）和冷热水
，三人平分网费和电费，一人不超过50。室内洗衣机和烘干机，免费使用。
吃饭：门口就是24小时营业allegro pizza和copa banana美式餐厅, 离“上海站”中餐
厅1分钟。
交通：距离fresh grocer超市步行3分钟，步行10分钟可到van pelt图书馆。免费校车
和shuttle，Lucy均经过。此外，有多条公交车经过，20分钟可到中国城。
室内：3人share厨卫客厅，公共空间很大，缺点是卧室采光比较差，房子比较旧。
安保：房子外对街有校警24小时巡逻。

洛杉矶地区没有最好的私立高中，只有最合适的私立高中。四所最严格私立高中是
Flintridge Prep, Pasadena Poly, Webb 和 Harvard-Westlake. 有些人可能会说最严
格的就是最好的，但对于大部分学生来说这种说法不对。对于大部分学生来说这种严格
的学校压力过大，每晚五小时的家庭作业 (脑子好使的), 加上周末，从九年级开始就
用大学程度课本。再加上2到3小时的体育训练或者演奏练习，加上社团，公共服务，和
课外活动。在申请大学的时候，大学不会因为你上一所非常难的私立学校，而对你网开
一面，反而在这里更难拿到好成绩。
最好从你所居住的周围开始咨询，因为你不会想要每天开很远的路程。就算是比较不那
么难的学校每晚也有3到4小时的家庭作业。有些学校有非常强的运动计划或者艺术计划
，所以选什么学校完全看你需要什么。不要太看中升学率，因为那主要取决与学生而不
是学校。
很多洛杉矶的天主教学校也收一部分非天主教的学生。天主教学校的费用通常只有私立

发帖数: 14021 | 22 AHC有俩好处。一个对自己，OC/DC升上来做AHC的，可以有机会参与到另一方面defense
/offense的工作（虽然可能不多），这样可以对自己的履历和未来升HC有些帮助。
另外一个好处是把OC/DC位置腾出来给下面的position coach机会升上来，从而防止被
别人以OC/DC的title挖走。比如如果海鹰的DC Dan Quinn不走，别人要挖DB coach做DC
，海鹰可以把Quinn升做AHC，DB coach升做DC，从而达到留住教练的目的。
绿湾升Clements做AHC主要一个原因就是要promote WR coach Edgar Bennett为OC。包
括麦胖放弃play call，升Tom Clements做AHC call play，都是一个长期规划的结果，
不是nfccg崩盘后拍脑袋而想出来的。你看Bennett的履历，RB出身的球员，先做6年的
RB coach，然后麦胖又让他做了3年的WR coach （我之前还不明白为毛让RB背景的来做
WR coach）。现在看出这个长期的规划，就是让他有RB和WR的背景，现在进一步升上来

本周绿湾最大新闻。虽然full practice，仍然失去首发，让人怀疑是否是因为太肥了
。starks取代首发位置。至此阿拉巴马三大淫荡rb只剩淫棍一人。
2. jack ryan可能首发
关注度小很多，但是可能对绿湾影响更大。对黑豹第二节防守崩溃之后，mm忍无可忍用
ryan换下palmer。小马修在半场多的时间里拿下全队第一的10次tackle，更惊人的是0
次mistackle。预计本周会首发。
3. van pelt从楼上挪到场边
这个关注更小。 龙哥对黑豹最后一传被int，在场边怒摔surface，被一个人捡了起来
，眼尖的人发现这是qb/wr 教练，本赛季挪到楼上去了。眼瞅着clements call o hild
不住，又下来了，对黑豹下半场进攻有不少改观。

狗熊前教练dikta无节操的穿绿湾衣服拍广告。广告出镜之后绿湾两连败。龙哥表示很
受伤，赛季初double check广告调戏裁判，对酋长之后就再也没有free play。两年前

应友之托，瞎翻了一首19世纪英国诗人Gerard Manley Hopkins的诗《Ode to Purcell
》——Purcell是17世纪的英国巴洛克风格作曲家。19世纪的诗其实还不算太现代，大
致意思还明白：高声赞美Purcell的厉害。但逐字翻译很吃力，第一句就不明白意思，
后面很多字句、意象也不明所以。我不会写诗，只按字面瞎猜乱翻……不怕笑话地贴出
来，一是想问几个不明白的地方，二是有些喜欢的词句和大家分享。

不知道外国人如何评判，按中国人的标准，我觉得：
意境上：赋比兴，层层递进，回味无穷
文字上：凝练，考究（但不矫情），对仗，韵律（读起来押韵上口但不油腻牵强）

Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s main store in Beijing was pelted with eggs from a crowd
of about 500 people after it failed to open on time for the start of sales
of the iPhone 4S.
Apple had advertised that the store would open at 7 a.m. At about 7:15 a.m.,
