家现在这个旧的是一样的。可是他说HD是不会帮我们把洗衣机和烘干机装在旧的
pedestal上的，因为责任的问题。难道要买新的？250一个真的是抢钱呀。自己装我怕

They're currently selling the pedestals for $200 each. (kicking myself for
not buying them from BB a couple of weeks ago for $99 each!)

in for an electric one, (annoying oversight by leasing agent ) I noticed
the pedestals were on sale for $99. This is a great deal seeing as how I
bought the $699 washer/dryer back around July 4th and wanted pedestals, but
they were over $200 each!

发帖数: 6771 | 10 家里厕所间的pedestal sink有点坏了，心血来潮把它拆了，准备自己换一个好点的，
结果一开工才发现问题多多。
首先是拆，那个上面的大碗就拆不下来，最后发现居然是用强力胶黏在墙上的，所以又
得割墙才卸下来，然后补洞刷漆。底下的支柱居然是用水泥直接糊在地砖洞里，搞半天
才弄下来，汗。
现在要装新的，可是有点忐忑，接管问题不大，就是不清楚怎么mount才能固定好整个
sink，不想用强力胶，可是如果用stud，又要开墙破洞，好像要在stud侧面装加固木块
给大碗吃力，可是记得左边stud右侧紧贴干墙是个pvc的排水管，安装木块不方便，有
点头疼了。另外这个支撑柱子的脚怎么装，我已经把破碎的地砖卸了，装了个新的备用
地砖，现在还要不要钻洞加固支撑柱？
早知道这么折腾也就懒得换了，现在骑虎难下不如DIY学习学习。 |

侧面和脚应该不用上加固，只要把pedestal放好。
一般吃力点应该在脚上而不是碗上，碗固定好就可以了。 |

advertised for $99 each (regular prices in store were $238-249 depending on
color).

I walked over to the Washer/Dryer section to check on Pedestals for my
washer and dryer and they were on sale for $99. I grabbed the sales person
quickly and purchased them on the spot.
Sku on my receipt is 55752 and they are the white ones, but all the other
colors were available at the same price.

放到pedestal上要比简单往墙边推重不少。我老公一人干不了吧？好像要
1。 connect dryer and gas inlet with gas connection kit.Connect aluminum
vent hose on dryer side.
2. 把pedestal 放在final position, make sure they are level.
3. put dryer and washer on pedestals. Then connect the aluminum vent hose
to the exhaust vent hood.
我可以做前两步，这第三步我老公一人做大概不行。那怎么办呢？

I think the pedestals promotion is probably local or expired, there is a
green flyer in appliance section saying free pedestals with purchase of a
pair of samsung W/D. It does require their manager approval though, as the
sales representative could not ring it up. They have to override my W/D
price to $800 total and then add the $199 pedestals to keep the total the

发帖数: 2552 | 30 front load的好处不是用top load的能理解的，加了pedestal高度正好不用弯腰，拿放
不要太容易了，拿出来直接塞旁边的dryer，不用举高举低。倒是top load的拿衣服要
弯腰，洗衣间小或者正好是车库入口那只能用top load。FL基本上不能中间加衣服那是
真的，不过没碰上说非要中间加衣服洗的，现在洗衣机效率高，30来分钟就完事了。
LG还有sidekick pedestal washer，用来分开洗小件衣服很好，这个是TL没有的空间不
允许，搞活动的时候rebate下来等于普通的pedestal。
有把洗衣机节水节电不当一回事的，长远来看显然比较重要，我们这水电公司拿还给
200的rebate。
洗衣机烘干机想用得长，适当也需要维护，长霉的是自己没弄好，看说明书厂家都建议
要定期清理。我还见过很多人抱怨烘干机不给力，看了才知道连滤芯都不清理，这种不
会用不能怪厂家。说白了就是一普通家用电器，自己用好才是关键，抱怨别人用的没用 |

front的当然好些，但容量不大，要洗被子的话买4.0以上的吧。我家的是front的，比
top的要安静。

大都会博物馆是靠近哪个近，是不是要安排在第二天帝国大厦那个行程了。还有第三天
上午只逛flushing感觉有点浪费。机场在JFK，如果一大早checkout，带着大行李箱也
哪儿都去不了。有没有什么地方玩半天，中午回flushing吃饭，checkout，然后就打车
去JFK。
还有票的事情，我在网上预订了自由女神和帝国大厦的票。还有什么地方需要提前订票吗？自由女神进crown和Pedestal / Museum的票都满了，结果只能订到在grounds看看的票。请问到地方有没有可能进Pedestal/Museum的办法了？那个crown登顶就不指望了，网上预约已经到8月份了。
我们这么个行程安排要买那个7天的subway pass吗？要是有三天的pass就好了。多谢纽约的同学们。 |
