Making malloc calls without the corresponding calls to free. The result
is that the amount of heap memory used continues to increase as the process
runs.
pcmag defintition:
When memory is allocated, but not deallocated, a memory leak occurs (the
memory has leaked out of the computer).

attempt to liquidate them. Looks like a pretty hot deal, since I am seeing
refurbished models elsewhere for the original price or more.

supposed to do basically what their hardware based Pogoplug does, but on
your own computer. They announce two versions - a free one which works on
your local lan, and a $29 Premium version which is needed for access on the
Internet. They've also released free apps for Android, IOS, and Blackberry
for easy access back to your home based pogoplug (music player, picture
viewer, etc.)
