riding a lot. and chances are I am gonna finish the qualifying rides next
year so that I can apply for a PBP spot. we will buy a tandem bike next
spring.
but my wife and I are going to hike more (special thanks to Sierra2 and
mooth for taking us to hiking around Tahoe and proving my wife is a better
hiker than me). and once we buy a wagon next year, we'll get a touring kayak

there are some changes to the rules. Because of the record turnout in
2007 there will be ride caps per country. Riding brevets in 2010 will
not only be good training but allow preregistration to make it in
under the country cap.

发帖数: 893 | 6 I think 8d13hrs for the 2123km tour is pretty impressive for an amateur,
probably the highest achievement to date for a Chinese amateur. But if you
would like to put things in perspective, google is always your best friend.
I suggest you start with the two following links. note that PBP allows
little support but is only 1227km long and allows drafting. RAAM doesn't
allow drafting in solo (pacing is allowed, I believe) but is fully supported.

PBP has changed the rule, limited 5000 cyclists. All qualified cyclists
must be ready by year of 2010 in order to register for 2011.

double纯粹就是锻炼，完成一个目标。
不过误打误撞的进入了ultracycling, 看到有专门的association, http://www.ultracycling.com/, 有很多超长距离的比赛， 包括triple century,PBP (Paris Brest Paris), phttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris%E2%80%93Brest%E2%80%93Paris
国内有类似的千里马（24小时完成500公里）， PBP （90小时1200公里）
多伦多周围没有可以晚上安全骑车的地方，将来可能会尝试去美国中西部骑车，争取24
小时能完成一个triple. |

据《钱江晚报》报道，“1984年我当兵时摔断了腰，1987年复发，医生说不做手术会瘫痪。我坚持骑车1年，居然复健成功，从此就爱上了骑车。”坐在杭州半山石塘社区的一家小饭店里，干瘦黝黑的黄仁义笑得很爽朗。
“我单位离家有7里地，每天上下班我都骑自行车。”老黄说，他很享受这种无拘无束骑车的感觉，如果可能他愿意一辈子这样骑下去，骑遍中国的每个角落，去发现不一样风景。

a long enough time, generally 60 days for common stock and 90 days for
preferred stock. Also the dividend must also be paid by a corporation in the
U.S. or with certain ties to the U.S.
ETFs — exchange-traded funds — are taxed the same as its underlying assets
would be taxed. Therefore, if an ETF has all stock holdings, it gets taxed
just as the sale of those stocks would be taxed.

好像它的 dividend 除了 holdings 的 dividend passthrough，
还有 call premiums。而至少后者我不确定是不是 qualified。
你怎么看？

模型把价格给定出来的。这样看来，option的价格其实是由市场上的买卖双方定下
的，然后我们才能反推回IV。
另外你说到了efficient market的问题，那么请问说如果我们相信efficient market
是对的，你是否觉得在overall的角度上来讲，这个risk premiums是存在的。就像你提
到的那个叫PBP的ETF，其实也是利用这个risk premium来赚取收益的。 |

发帖数: 893 | 27 Sure, a 33-miles is pretty hard. but I just don't think this is such a big
deal. I almost felt that the amazing things people on this board did was
discounted. Trust me, the death ride reflects greater athletic ability than
some 33 mile run. and a 33 miles run is nothing compared to PBP (not to
mention GRR someone, you know who, is doing now), or an ironman.
This would be something that I truly admire. I used to ride with a old man
who had done it twice and finished in Kona twice.

season, a couple times per week for upper boby in the gym.

but too many difficulties. I am much better positioned to do a 1200k this
year. if even the cascade 1200k is not feasible, I will at least do the
1000k in north carolina. |
