yellow tag clearance sales. I immediately bought a 7 piece all aluminum

一包碎石子往里填，一年多里陆陆续续填了一整袋子也没满. 能不能买concrete mix往
里面灌？如果自己灌的话应该注意什么呢？
还有就是这个空洞边上有两个小洞，像是有东西住在里面，外面的草地上还连着一道弯
弯曲曲的不长草的痕迹（就好像常年放着一根水管后留下来的）。会是老鼠么？不会是

If you use regular paver, you can do it on loose sand and then broom sand
into the spaces between pavers. Sometime people use cement instead, which
sound to be better but actually worse than sand. As cement will become solid
and when the ground moves, they will break.
If you want to do a brick and mortar patio, then you need to pour a 4"
concrete pad and then lay the brick and mortar on the pad. Otherwise, as
winter comes, the ground will heave and the brick and mortar will crack. Y |

POUR 900SQFT 4 英寸 的水泥PAD 要1500刀。
决定放弃了。我们900 SQFT的砖才700刀。
打算用细白沙子代替了。
另外有一个问题。
铺PATIO的时候是应该先ANCHOR EDGE还是铺完之后再ANCHOR EDGE。
有的视频时先铺砖再钉EDGE ANCHOR，还有的先钉EDGE再铺砖。有什么区别吗？

仍有粉末粘
在paver表面，粘上水后就好象paver刷了一层水泥，红色的砖变成了水泥色，难看，而
且很难除掉，
除非一块块打磨。
上面说的polymeric sand估计也有类似问题。
用砖的好处就是随时可以拆掉，要走个电线，铺个管子很方便。如果加了sealer就不可
逆转的话，那就

填缝这件事情，真是说起来容易做起来难，前后扫了四五遍沙子，很多缝看上去还是空
的。
mortar base的brick pavement不建议DIY，要在mortar干以前切砖铺花样，难度还是挺
大的。干铺砖的话，4寸石子+2寸沙子，砖头就坐得很瓷实了。edge还是有必要的，可
以在铺石子以前围边，也可以之后；可以买现成的edge，也可以用砖；用砖的话，比较
常见就是你图上这种solider pattern
我觉得，brick pavement追求的就是自然，多少有些高低不平，缝隙有些大小差别都无
所谓，更不会成天拿扫把去扫，顶多拿hose没事儿冲冲就是了。我家有一个mortar
based brick patio，打扫起来也不容易，因为mortar缝总是凹下去的，要用扫把一条
缝一条缝的清理。所以对沙子啥的，就视而不见算了。 |

的。quote了几家，现在锁定Homedepot （HD）和一家经常在我们小区做事情的窗户公
司(G)。
因为我们房子结构比较特殊，而且是不是木头或是砖的结构，HD的labor报价从标准的$
425加到了$840。窗户是Andersen的，里面是木头颜色，女友很喜欢，价钱$1400。所以
总计$2200左右，加上折扣之类的，能在$2000左右搞定。窗户质保20年，labor只有1年
。安装工人没有做过类似的房子，但是他们觉得安装不会太难。
G的offfer是$2300，是life time warranty on labor and parts。但是他用的窗户是
thermal industries的，这家公司1月刚file chapter 11，这是我最担心的。他的优点
是在这个小区安装过很多的窗户，对我们建筑的结构很了解，了解HOA的规范。他反复
说很多人都不能“正确”的在这里安装门和窗户。
所以，总结一下：
HD: $2000
优点：门是大公司生产的。门内部是木头颜色，比较好看。 |
