Anti-depression medicine is not cheap in China. Is there any way we can buy
the medicine here and mail it to the patient in China? I heard WalMart has
cheap generic anti-depression medicines. But it needs docotor's prescription
.
Anyone has done that before? Please give some advice.

1) 24 yo male w/ type I DM was sent by EMS for AMS. EKG showed V-tech. What
is the first thing I let nurse do?
2) 70 yo male in ER with AMS. BMP showed Ca 18.5.
3) 75 yo female sent by PMD w/ BUN/Cr 250/18.
4) 34 yo HM w/ new onset DM w/ Glucose 2500.
5) 38 yo AA male w/ DM,depression and drug abuse admitted for NSTEMI. CPK 75
,000.
6) 26 yo AA female w/ CM |

度呢？貌似全用大写也没有节约多少时间，格式也是按照kaplan 教的用的最简洁的方
式了，难道真的必须要提前出来才能写完么？！问诊时间很紧张，复杂的case几乎不可
能早出来，难道只有减少查体的时间么？求高手支招！ |

菜鸟一个，高不了手。。楼上说的对，全部capital的打，不用换大小写，把最常见的
缩写记住了可以省好多时间。。我觉得IMG去考试基本都是最晚一个进最早一个出的，
所以你patient encounter省的时间就用来打字，打完了就到处看AMG着急的打，我考试
的时候一个小帅哥出来的时候很悲催的跟他朋友说PN没打完。。 |

following is the answer from USMLE:
As previously stated, the patient notes can be typed in all upper case
letters.

1.病人visit start and end date,visit type(inpatient,outpatient,emergency
visit)
2.procedure type（治疗方案？）(for heart attack,brain operation,can be very
detailed),procedure start and end data。基本是文字叙述，需要分类汇总。
3.drug:病人每天用什么药,药的用量,服用始末日期。
4.condition:病人服药期间出现的一些症状，如血压低，心跳不正常。这些症状基本都
是文字叙述。需要分类。
5.针对病人病情的一些测量数据：如心跳，尿液检测，血压，血液检测等。
如果版上有类似经历，希望大家献计献策，有包子。 |

treatment group and one control group. The response of the medicine is
expected to be very high (close to 100%). How many patients should I recruit
for each group to make the statistics significant (p<0.05)? How to do "

It's not a double blind. The response is measured by a blood test which is
subjective. The pretest showed the response by the treatment is almost 100%.
I have very limited statistics knowledge and try to figure out how many
patients I need for a statistically significant result. Usually, for an
animal study, I was told 6-8 animals in each group will do. Is it the same
case for such a clinical study? Thanks a lot. |

们负责每个季度对 Medicard Primary Care Provider 做很多很多Performance
Matrices 的Report, 很少做什么分析，然后这些Reports 被用来决定如何分配
Incentive Payments.我是Biostat 的Master, 相比分析，对SAS programming 更感兴
趣。但这个工作需要理解一非常复杂的Process,我也不熟悉Patient Claims Data,还要
学Putty,WinSCP,Oracle Database,估计得要几个月才能上手。不知这样的经验对以后
找业界的工作有多大的帮助？是不是以后只能在保险公司之类的找工作了？ |
