Obstetrics 的training 比较墨迹。正常的prenatal care 和接生比较简单，因为这是
一个生理过程。就是把产科护士拉出来，都可以独立接生。但产科的危险经常出现在本
来正常的过程中。没人敢保证自己不会中招。所以在training过程中要大量接生，看得
多了，complications 才见的多，独立后才有信心。高危产科要大量读书读文章，能达
到什么程度就看个人努力和 program 的水平。教科书主要是Williams 和Gabbe。大多
数人认为Gabbe 要好于Williams。Williams是最经典的教科书，起源于JHH。后来落户
Parkland。结果基本就是南方几个学校把持。编的晦涩难读。大量夹杂parkland自己的
经验。据说当年parkland出来的fellow考board 口试的时候一定不能露出parkland痕迹
，否则肯定被灭。Gabbe的初衷就是编一本高于Williams 并且通俗易懂的教科书。由在
康奈尔training过的师姐弟三人主编。按字母排序Gabbe排在最前，大家就简称Gabbe。

宝宝不小心把chemical 弄到脚上，起了很多包，我们送了儿童医院的ER，他们打了破
伤风针，抽了血，，因为那时不知道是怎么烧伤的，（后来我们才在家找到那个瓶子，
是bqq的助燃剂，有娃的父母小心啊，要放好这些东西）他们把我们转到parkland
hospital的烧伤科。那时已经是半夜2点多，有几个医生过来看了一下，也不知道原因
。就让我们住院了。我老公这时回家才发现那个瓶子，赶紧回来告诉，那时是6点多。
但是医院说医生8点上班，让我们等着。后来8点半医生过来，我们告知，就给宝宝清洗
伤口，包了药。事后我们发现收到儿童医院3600多地帐单，保险后我们付了copay。然
后又来了parkland 的账单，9000多，我们要付1700多。我发现他们居然重新charge 了

ICU不太清楚。
还有，看样子在parkland医生会诊了，会诊的价格是非常贵的，和在外面out patient
普通门诊不一样。inpatient的用药价格也比外面买药贵很多很多，美国就是这样，没
办法。 |

差错，只能转病人。ER收费就是贵，你看看Parkland ER有几个有保险的？所以碰到一
个要好好收费补偿一下。保险公司那么精，他们没意见付了钱，那大概即使错了也不会
太离谱。 |

况。
Dallas是德州最大的城市之一，也是全美规模最大的10个城市之一。位于德州中部偏北
的地方，常常和他的twin city-Fort Worth放在一起作为一个大metropolitan地区。而
UTSW则是服务于整个这个地区以及周边几个州的人群。
医学中心所在区域不是富人区，周遭常常有些不安全事件发生，因为主附属医院为
county hospital,吸引了很多homeless and uninsured的人群。主教学医院为Parkland
Hospital,据说是全美最大也是最有名气的郡立医院之一。因为实在病人太多，医院还
要扩建。大家可能听说过烧伤科补液常用的Parkland Formula吧，没错就是这里弄出来
的，还有就是当年肯尼迪总统遇刺就是在这个医院抢救并被宣布死亡的。而这个医院也
是给住院医发工资的单位。此外，还有一个非常漂亮的Children Medical Center,是US
News美国前10，病理的PD是这个医院的Attending.然后，还有VA,几个小规模的私立医

发帖数: 51 | 46 宝宝不小心把chemical 弄到脚上，起了很多包，我们送了儿童医院的ER，他们打了破
伤风针，抽了血，，因为那时不知道是怎么烧伤的，（后来我们才在家找到那个瓶子，
是bqq的助燃剂，有娃的父母小心啊，要放好这些东西）他们把我们转到parkland
hospital的烧伤科。那时已经是半夜2点多，有几个医生过来看了一下，也不知道原因
。就让我们住院了。我老公这时回家才发现那个瓶子，赶紧回来告诉，那时是6点多。
但是医院说医生8点上班，让我们等着。后来8点半医生过来，我们告知，就给宝宝清洗
伤口，包了药。事后我们发现收到儿童医院3600多地帐单，保险后我们付了copay。然
后又来了parkland 的账单，9000多，我们要付1700多。我发现他们居然重新charge 了
ER 3000多的钱，还ICU1500多，宝宝根本没有进ICU，另外还有破伤风的1000多的钱，
我打电话申诉不合理和乱收费，但是他们调查后说收费都是对的，我要求减免部分帐单
，他们说因为保险公司已经支付，所以总额不能变，面对这种情况，我该怎么办，请求

警方表示，今年9月到11月期间，在芬治大道(Finch Ave.)夹森蒂纳尔路(Sentinel Rd.)的Black Creek Parklands地区，先后有4名年轻女子遭一名男子性侵犯。警员表示，一名男子会从受害人身后出现，先说出涉及性的不恰当评语，接着性侵犯她们，然后逃进丛林。
由于案件在光天化日发生，通常是在正午到傍晚7时之间，已促使警方上周初发出警告提醒妇女要小心。被捕男子是25岁的科雷亚(Danny Correa)，现时面对两项性侵犯罪。警方表示，可能还有多名受害人。

儿子就读该校12年级的李姓家长表示，14日当天她正几个朋友一起吃饭唱歌庆祝情人节，下午2点多有人告诉她其儿子就读的高中出事了。她说她第一时间打电话给老公要他带女儿打完网球后去接儿子，但是却一直没人接。她接着写短信给儿子，然后马上离开活动地点准备去学校，还好儿子在下午2时59分时传短信告诉她目前躲在教室内没事，叫她不要担心也不要到学校去接他。
李姓家长表示，儿子晚上7时许才回到家.儿子表示事发当天学校的警铃响了，他和同学都以为是演习，因为事发前学校警铃也常常响，当时儿子说还在走廊上和同学互传短信说有演习，一直到有同学说是枪击才跑到教室躲起来。

车队途中遭遇车祸，警员本人未受重伤，奥巴马车队未受到影响。
