Looking for bats doesn't mean no need to improve bullpen.
Raul Valdes is a pretty good backup lefty they just picked up in the pen with a minor league deal.
Jonathan Papelbon is for sure an upgrade from Madson.(even though close to No.42's money, i.e. Ridiculous high) (at rumors stage though)
I think after signning Tommy to cover Howard, they are looking to re-sign
Rollins, and to upgrade 3rd base over Placido Polanco. |

结果一下子不行了。
Papelbon这个人不是很好相处，好像本季中曾经炮轰球团，那意思他自己的数据各方面
都很好，球队这样他屈才了。前两天有人说现在市面上便宜又能做closer的不少，
Papelbon这种286 save的历史级别的选手（不要笑）不大好找下家 |

另一方面Phillies的教练因为不敢放手在tie game中使用Papelbon而挨了很多批评，去

是说the requirements for my position有问题, need to provide them with
substantial proof that the position does in fact require the listed years of
experience and education。我是phd+不到1年经验。PERM广告上要求MS+4 or PHD+0.
还写了experience can be gained during Doctoral Program.是不是写得有些欲盖弥
彰乐？
律师说没事，但我觉得可能是他们材料没准备好。现在律师让我准备各种资料写个

The bullpen sucks.
It is hard to find an ss like Jeter. Lugo was good.
Sox is still in the down turn unless they can show real improvement in
defense.
2007 WS ==> 2008 ALCS ==> 2009 ALDS ==> 2010 E
Don't expect too much on Sox then you will be fine. We were lucky to see two
WS in the past decade, considering some people had never seen even once in
their entire life.

发帖数: 265 | 15 今天是今年看红袜的最后一次机会了，想了想还是去吧，虽然最近队伍状态很差，去看
看papi，曼宁，县令也好，结果计划赶不上变化。。。
赛前说实话是没抱多大希望的，现在这个lineup估计是全联盟最差了，县令最近表现也
不稳定，唯一的希望就是zito弱掉。。。LD是个伪A's饭（重点看帅哥的那种），全队
能对上名字的也就那么几个，其中就有zito，因为上次看A's season opener，zito被
养鸡乱扁，从此印象深刻。。。
比赛过程没多少好说的，比较平稳。。。县令今天控球一般，也还是会丢solo HR，A's
的打手比较耐心。zito状态不错，一开始小抖了一下，后来稳定下来了。看到第5局感
觉大势已定，且太阳大，LD还有事，就溜走了。。。
其实红袜今天也有10个hit，不过缺乏大棒，打线也连不起来。。。
比较可惜的是papelbon竟然出场了，没看到，只能等明年了。。 |

优势了还不让Gagne上去捏软柿子长长信心。it可能以为晚上Santana肯定

But great closers are extremely important for a team's success.
Guys like Rivera, Wagner, Putz and Papelbon are too good to be
