Full tax or not makes no difference.
Actually there is a lot benefit if working in belgium. Besides excellent com

从念小学到读博士，虽然历经波折，却大体也算得上一帆风顺，可现在要说服老婆要孩
子，却结结实实把我难倒了。我生活前面二三十年怎么说也算是都和科学打交道，从来
不信邪，这次迷信却报复了我一把， 难倒我的竟然是老婆脑袋里的迷信思想：生辰属
相。
先说说我的大体情况。我今年年底博士毕业，明年初要到外州作博士后；我老婆现在和
我在一起，在读统计硕士，还有一个学期的课程，明年春季或夏季毕业，她毕业后会到
我所在的州（离现在住的地方很远，1800miles) 找工作。我们都是78年出生，属马的
。我觉得现在是我们要小孩的最佳时机：一是现在我们年龄正合适；二是她是学校最后
一年，学业压力比较小；三是她要找外州的工作也不方便，还不如到了我那边再开始找
，面试的机会会多很多；四是我们的父母都还年轻，身体也还不错，现在可以好好帮助
我们。另外，我弟弟还没有结婚，她哥哥结婚了还没 |

最近正处在从Ph.D.到postdoc的转型期，需要整理一下想法，什么家庭啊事业啊等等东
西都要想想清楚。有时候心情郁闷，有时候百无聊赖，就整天泡在BBS上。发了几个很
长的帖子，倒都是有感而发，感觉很多人也有都有类似的想法，还真的上了几次十大，
连自己也没有想到。不过这样倒让我感觉好受了很多，I am not alone anyway. 其实
我心里觉得挺堕落的，知道自己应该好好准备postdoc，可是就是坐不下来，可能是前
一阶段准备答辩有些累过头了。
等三四个星期后到了SLC加入了组织，就不太会灌水了吧，我想。呵呵。 |

特别是雪地驾驶，AWD的确给我自信心。
不足之处
1. 马力不足，2.4L的AWD，加速费劲。
高速并lane跑不过小车。
学会手动切换(sport mode)后好多了
2. 后排座位坐3个人较拥挤
3. 比较废油22mpg 90% high way
4. 刹车距离较accord长，最初一个月好几次有惊无险。
Outback比Legacy要好点，车身大，底盘高，我邻居小姑娘的legacy
就在趴车场被雪堆搁浅，一大早横在马路中间，我们只得
帮她把底盘下的雪铲除来，再帮她推出来。
