This is cheaper than most better bottles of this size, and about $15 less
than most glass carboys at homebrew shops. It is also about $2.50 less than
the most recent posting here for the same product.

Not as great as it has been ($25.50) but lower than it has been for a while,
and cheaper than anything you'll find locally. These are the same glass
carboys that you will find at you local homebrew shop, or the online
homebrew shops. You will need a 6 gallon carboy if you buy wine kits, or
want to ferment a 5 gallon batch of beer. 5 gallon carboys are better if
you use it for clearing in the secondary (less head space).

This is the perfect size for clearing 6 gallon batches of wine, or primary
fermentation of 5 gallon batches of beer.
I'm sure you could find some non-alcoholic uses for them as well.
I have had great luck ordering these. One had a defect, but amazon refunded
me right away. I even kept the carboy and use it for holding sanitizer, or
other solutions that I wouldn't be sad about losing.
