《文化鸿沟》
上周参加一次聚会，结识了一位擅长书法的退休香港公务员。聊天之中他问我是否在中
国听人称我“老外”，若有，会否感到受了侮辱？
我说常有，但听着挺亲切，自己也往往回敬人家一声“老内”或“老里”，以示友好并
摆平关系。“那么，用广东话管你叫‘鬼佬’呢？”
起先我对他提出这问题有点莫明其妙，后来才想到这大概是因为日前在电视节目《舞动
奇迹》（Strictly Come Dancing）里有位表演者把他的舞伴称为“Paki”，由此刚刚
引发了一阵风波。
安东“无保留道歉”后两人继续跳舞。
“Paki”的由来
字面上不难看出“Paki”和巴基斯坦（Pakistan）的关系。几十年前巴基斯坦移民来英
国定居，其中有些人办起邻里杂货店，据说就起了这样的名字，逐渐便叫开来了。
但让参加舞蹈竞赛的演员莱拉·卢阿斯（Laila Louass）听之愤然的，不是因为舞伴安
东·杜贝奇（Anton Du Beke）把自己误作巴基斯坦人（她祖上有的倒来自印度和摩洛
哥），而是因为这个词在英国已沦落为种族主义者的骂人用语。

I am a Chinese, I also like the way he veiw the world. I have lots of
respect when it comes to Religion.
My Pikistan client is british, he came over to China (beijing) once, and he
is bringing his wife to visit China.
I told him when I get enough money I will visit Pakistan :D

组里突然要雇2个人. 因为没有预料到市场爬升恢复的那么快，失去了在这里的campus
recruiting的机会，就让组里的自己回母校去找简历然后推荐。
先说组里的情况，5个人，2个阿三。阿三最讨厌，只会翻嘴皮，事情一样不会做。雇人
的要求是technical 背景比较好的。因为公司比较blue blood，阿三不是藤校的，没机
会推荐。
法国人回普大找了几个数学的，结果找了一堆阿三，外加一个paki。阿三的简历都吹到
天上去，一个summer intern都能做n个project,很吸引眼球，但我一看就知道假的。老
美比较纯朴，觉得很impressive.
另一个老美去史大没找到一个简历，好像他们那里的就业超好，都找到工了。
我们学校寄来十几个简历，一大半是阿三。见到阿三的名字就直接发emai |

另外a300-600 vertical stabilizer 在jfk 还是哪起飞后 断掉 ， 也充分说明了 复
合材料的 问题
空客飞机由于采用标准化座舱布局和很多标准化部件， 所以对航空公司来说，可以大
幅度降低成本。 飞行员也减少了机型训练的重复性。原先飞320的 ，改330 就不需要
initial type rating， 直接做个差异训练就可以上了
但是， 同样是737 ，320这样的大型机， 737 ，教员放手量就大， 320放手量就小。
737 ，二副或者初级一副，就有更多的机会降落 。因为 737 牢固。
空客的理念是将最先进的技术应用于飞机， 波音的理念是将最成熟的技术用于飞机。
当然， 对于中国飞行员来说， 飞啥都不重要。 2700小时+450个起落， 就能放机长了
