to form a better two pair. You can only beat a pure bluff and a semibluff
with flush draws for now, and those flush draws still have outs against

tendencies, you should probably call here.

cards (9-handed, regardless of position/stack. Just two players go to allin, whether I am one of them or not).

raise pre-flop with any pair. however, his limp/check-call/check/check-
raise is just a strong indicator he got a hand, so top 2 pair is not any
better than K with good kicker. even take into his bluff %, i would expect
he fires one barrel on the turn (most likely) or donk bets on river.
when LAG does something so different, they are not kidding.

be very cautious on the turn for any card completes the str8.
Things like KQ, KJ, KT, QJ, JT are very vulnerable if flop two pairs. I
would lead out bet/overbet the pot to give wrong odds, rather than check/
raise to make the opponent committed to crying call with the draw. Lead-out
betting will make the pot smaller compared with check/raise, thus, minimize
the variation.

set to a lot of new players. A lot of time people will laydown their mid two
pairs or even top two pairs. Unless he read me well, I think he got me beat
for sure. I asked him late and he smiled back saying you made a good
laydown...... damn, that is why I love poker:)..... for such a poor hourly
rate......

and two small cards, dry flop.
MP bet out $20.
With the size of the chip stack, hero didn't want to reraise.So hero called.
Turn blank, MP bet again for $35.
What will you do on flop and turn? MP is an OK player, not nit or LAG.

Villain 1 had stack of 500ish at UTG+1. He is a week guy. Saw him raise PF
with AK twice. Folded 99 PF one time facing my push of 130ish with 66
against BTN's shove of 100ish. That hand flopped 996. And the 4th 6 didn't
come out. If did, I would be pissed off by missing the bad beat.
Villain 2 is a middle age guy, normal player with mixed play some time. He
had stack of 300ish at BTN.

我在分析一个犯罪数据，从2001年到2013年的，有大概6GB， CSV格式。里面大概有20
个columns,但是我只对其中几栏需要分析。比如我想分析每种犯罪在每年的数量，所以
我想能否用这样一个key: ， 也就是犯罪类型和年份这个pair作为key,
然后这个key所对应的value就是sum of the occurrences of theft in 2005.

如果你觉得不同批次之间测试的绝对数值相差很大，但是趋势一致的时候，一个不严谨
但是有用的方法是，都
normalize到control的平均值以后再combine 做stats
比如 第一次做， control VS treatment， n=5 per group
那么你会得到control的平均值Ca， normalize以后
control的五个replicate 分别是c 1, c5 , treatment分别是T1-T5
第二次做，control vs treatment， n=5
这一次的control平均值是Cb，normalize以后
得到C6-C10 以及T6-T10
依次类推， 最后你有C1-C15， T 1-T15，然后做T -test
还有一种方法是每次都include一个bridging sample，然后每次都normalize到那个
sample
用paired t-test 不合适， 等于认为的缩小的p值 |

如果你是直接吹起来，然后分两个aliquot直接做实验，那么unpaired
就是100%正解。
其实这都是GLM的特例而已，各自做了简化，关键在于你对那几个random
variation之间的关系的理解，比如是不是有correlation。如果楼主每个实验
还有重复，那么paired也不是很正确，最后直接拉倒GLM里面去看。 |
