民巷深处的市场吃早饭。老板建议我到一家著名的卖duck noodle的小店试试，果然汤
香不怕巷子深，小饭馆虽破但味道相当浓郁，墙上还挂着好多大明星来店里光顾时的照
片。话说泰国名流还真亲民，这么七拐八拐又脏乱差的地方也能找来。除了鸭汤面，市
场里还有各种美食摊位，可惜我眼大肚子小，只好看看了事。于是，跌宕起伏的曼谷拓
展一日游就在荡气回肠的鸭肉味中拉开帷幕了。
虽为旅游圣地，曼谷的英语普及却很差。我不想打出租，很希望能体验各种当地交通工
具，所以就要边走边问，摸索路线，却因为语言不通经常被指错方向，这一天的很多时
间都花在走冤枉路上了。正因如此，才遇到了各种形形色色的人，发生了许多有趣的故
事。
早上旅店老板给我指好了去公交站的路，我一抬腿就走错了 ，汗死！我选择了一间小
书店问路，开书店的人想必英语水平比路边摊大妈好一点吧。果然老板让我热泪盈眶地
听懂了我要去的地方，还热情地给我画了图，甚至目送我走对方向。顺利找到公交站却
发现站牌上没有任何标示，方向对不对，都在哪停，什么都看不出来。好容易等来了44

Like I said long time ago, this is another implemention of the specification
of padding.
You talk about "originally stored" and claim 'hello ' is different
from 'hello'. Actually in CHAR(N), there are only two ways to do:
either padd with white space or trim the trailing spaces. Both change the
original content. This was stated in the specification, and it now just has
the following two situations:
1. Oracle turns padding on;
2. MySQL turns padding off.
