Commissioner Larry Scott announced today the addition of Utah to the Pac-10
Conference. The Utes join Colorado who announced their move to the Pac-10
last week.
The Valley's Hometown team since 1897 has transitioned from the Border
Conference to the WAC to the Pac-10 and now we welcome a new competitive

Rose bowl是big10 冠军和pac10的冠军的比赛
orange, fiesta,和sugar bowl是另外三个最重要的bowl
轮换着举办全国冠军的比赛，一般这四个bowl的比赛有8个队参加
分别是6个conference的冠军，BCS再邀请两个队，今年是Michigan 和
Tenesse
cirtus bowl是最强的两个conference,big10和sec的老二比赛
今年是MSU和florida,这个bowl的规格要差一些
BCS选择Michigan打orange和Tenesse打fiesta是考虑了传统成绩和可能的商业效益

10 team has to play a maybe 15-ranked pac 10 team.. this sucks
also pac10 overall is weak.. big 10 teams are at a disadvantage
b/c their big teams fight each other out at the end of the season
if you lose you want to lose early so you can make it up later.. like
florida st. last year.. if bucks lost to michigan state the 1st
game and won all other games later, it would have been no. 1 at
season's end.

Another UC school in division one is UC SantaClara, but not pac10
yeah, you are right.
it's a private school...
confused with State University of California:P
every U has its own football team,
but not every school has a chance to compete at high level.
actually, those football players in small school

PSU is predicted as #5 or 6 in big ten, while USC is #1 or 2 in pac10
What suprised me is not PSU lost the game, but so ugly they performed
No offense at all, so many fault starts, blocked punt,
but defense is ok, better than what I expected.
USC is not good, either. Passing offense is terrible. So. QB is just so so
or below average. So many high or low snaps, one of which resulted a safety. |

biased view on the SEC backs...
1. C.J.Spiller - Clemson was hyped until they got destroyed by BAMA. And
Spiller is in a bad team with 2 good running backs. It's weird how Marshawn
Lynch got demoted this way (maybe because he's too not good looking). He

要说斯坦佛，我们扣子有４个哪。
不过话说回来，斯坦佛的football player其实不稀奇。因为人家在Pac10,本来
football 就不错，出几个职业队员很正常。Ivy里的学校体育很烂，又没有体育奖学金
，所以出职业球员很稀奇。 |

Syraucuse有点意外，因为那年Kansas确实很强，还Big12不败。今年，
几大联盟，真正close且水平比较高的我觉得只有Big East和ACC勉强
能算上，Big10绝对弱，SEC也一般，Big 12就别提了Kansas根本罩不住，
Pac10的Arizona好像还有点意思，可惜其他比较弱，看不出来。其他小
conference连个接近全胜的都没有。看top25最后几周都是大量输球，
前十里面输球不降排名的好多，说明都是矮子里面拔高子。从相对水平
说这支duke还能排到前五，现在看来还有搞no1种子的可能，确实没想到。
jj火是火，还没有到只手遮天的地步，只能说明k还是比较牛鼻。
我还是看好unc有可能夺冠，毕竟是内外最齐全的队，不过要是duke打进
了最后4我也不奇怪了。wake和ill看来不咋地。可能死在big east和acc的
手上 |

,UF的真的还不少,可一不留神看到一个很眼熟的名字DREW
BENNETT,靠,这不是UCLA的QUARTERBACK吗,再一看,竟然是TITAN的的STARTING WIDE
RECEIVER.
98年的COTTO BOWL,
UCLA正在二十连胜中间,不知道太轻敌了,还是咋的,竟然要到最后扔HOLY
GRAIL来打败TAMU,四个WR不够,再加上这个BENNETT,竟然就被这个BACKUP
QB接住了.今天COWBOYS的阮呆也是那一场的明星.
98-99是PAC10 四分卫大放光彩的一年, RYAN
LEAF是那一年突然冒起的巨星,当时WSU和VOLUNTEER一前一后对UCLA,UCLA分别以几分惜败
,当然接下来就是连胜20场, 对WSU的那一场还失去了ROSE BOWL的TIE
BREAKER,要不然CHARLES WOODSON和BRIAN GRIESE不敢欺我PAC-10无人,在ROSE BOWL撒野
了.

坦白地说, 今年最难打的联盟, 是SEC, BIGTEN, 和ACC. 接下来是BIG12, 再就是PAC10.
简单扼要的说: 大学橄榄球赛, 就是一班军阀在混战.
SEC里面有五个大军阀: GEORGIA, LSU, AUBURN, TENN和FLORIDA. 这五个队, 都有拿联盟
冠军, 乃至全国冠军的实力. 另外ARKANSAS是只小老虎, 今年除了以20:22惜败TEXAS外,
别的几场都是横扫对手, 包括老邻居ALABAMA. 这ALABAMA历史上是个老牌强队, 最近几年
因为各种丑闻被罚, 有点一蹶不振的味道. 记得过去在ATLANTA酒吧里看球, 当地有无数
的ALABAMA球迷, 每次和奥克拉哈马比赛, 狂呼乱叫的场面记忆犹新, 根本没有所谓的南
方绅士风度一说, 全是急红了眼的狼.
再说Big Ten, 基本上可以看出: PURDUE和MINNESOTA的进攻锐利, BUCKEYE和MICHIGAN的
防守一流, HAWKEYE名不副实, WISCONSIN是打 |

Saturday’s 17-15 loss to Washington State, received a report Thursday from

In all six cases, Sorgen agreed with Baylor’s assessment and “graded down

Michigan win
(If USC lose, they will lose to Cal, so Cal gets the Pac10, Michigan usually
will lose to this year or next year's Champion, so they will lose to OSU,
but I don't see Cal can be Champion next year) Rosebowl lose OSU as No.1
team to BCS Championship game, therefore pick Michigan instead.

有人说kentucky不错，有人说arizona才是最好的wildcats，
说到最辉煌的王朝，当然是12年10夺冠军的UCLA，其中更有4次赛季全胜。
成功的背后，当然少不了魔法师john wooden的功劳。数据男MSEE笑了，wooden还不是
咱们purdue的同学。
生于indiana的wooden，中学时代就三进indiana州的总决赛，在purdue几年，也拿下一
会ncaa冠军（unofficial）。在indiana state短暂执教之后，来到UCLA，从此一个王
朝开始。
有趣的是，当时wooden更想去的是minnesota，因为他更喜欢midwest，可惜的是，因为
冰天雪的一天，他没能接到minnesota的offer电话，于是先从了ucla。真不知道是big
10的不幸，还是pac10的幸运。 |
