醫生用麻醉劑注射她的脊髓神經，已有8個月未再經歷腳部高潮。
這名病患曾因敗血症住院治療，腳部神經纖維受損，大腦無法分辨感官訊息的來源，誤
以為左腳的訊息是來自陰道，因此將其判讀為性高潮。此症狀稱為「腳部高潮症」（
