发帖数: 141625 | 1 我昨天在Orange的Racebrook Rd上看到，在那个圆顶的St Barbara教堂旁边有很多白顶
帐篷，烤肉烤鱼烤面饼，啤酒奶酪吃得香。还有载歌载舞的希腊男女。希腊人的五官都
很标致，尤其多美女，虽然有的身材巨胖。另一头有旋转木马、小火车、飞镖水枪投篮
等小孩游戏。教堂里有牧师主教的袍子让人参观，有人讲解希腊东正教以及教堂内的彩
绘建筑——彩绘很新很精致。教堂旁的大厅里有卖各种手工艺品。我买了个说是手工做
的希腊海景的冰箱贴。还挺好玩，住在附近的有空可以去看看，5号结束。现在的希腊
语是不是就是阿拉伯语？我以前的希腊学生这么说，但我又看到教人写希腊字母的小册子。

最漂亮。woodbridge的树林比九溪更美，一年四季色彩和感觉不同。每次从路口转进那
种两边全是树林的路，那就像一个张开的自然的怀抱来欢迎你一样。喜欢自然风景的人
住在这里会提高生活满意度的。
orange商店多，购物方便。不过从woodbridge开车十多分钟就到orange，也在可接受范

一年一度的orange&blue今天举行了，虽然只是对内的比赛，但是到场观众还是很多，
估计在50K以上吧。比赛蓝队有Tebow领衔，外加5号WR Andre Caldwell压阵，不过主要
OL都在蓝队了。橙队由替补QB 13号Cameron Newton领衔，外加1号Percy Harvin压阵。
比赛最终是蓝队27比21获胜，Tebow3个pass TD，Newton 1个pass TD。蓝队几乎是放弃
了下半场大部分时间进攻，改为练习防守，橙队连追2个TD。下面是比赛的简单观感：
喜：
QB位置上比我想象中要强，这一场看到Tebow的pass比过去一年的还多，至少证明他还
是会pass的，不过缺点就是过于集中在左路进攻（他是左撇子），几乎全部都是向左移
动中传球，缺乏变化。当然，由于比赛的特殊性， |

查了下房价，orange county的房价中值在88万左右，还有个San Clemente town,那里
看上去很多房子在山坡上，能看到海洋，但是万一发生地震 山体严重滑坡，岂不是房
子和房下的land都找不见了？
本人现住东北，租房；觉得冬天有点长，每年大概4个半月的冬天。东北这里房价中值
在50万左右，upper middle class town 中值可能要在80万以上。同等价位，东北的房
子院子面积普遍是LA的至少2－3倍。
如果在东北每年税前10万，到LA地区如果没有15万，是不是就不值得move过去了？

Rose bowl是big10 冠军和pac10的冠军的比赛
orange, fiesta,和sugar bowl是另外三个最重要的bowl
轮换着举办全国冠军的比赛，一般这四个bowl的比赛有8个队参加
分别是6个conference的冠军，BCS再邀请两个队，今年是Michigan 和
Tenesse
cirtus bowl是最强的两个conference,big10和sec的老二比赛
今年是MSU和florida,这个bowl的规格要差一些
BCS选择Michigan打orange和Tenesse打fiesta是考虑了传统成绩和可能的商业效益

了）。meyer lemon 从10月就一直开花，现在有很多小果子了，可是orange只见叶子疯
长，很多顶上的新枝条都有2/3feet了，可是就没见开过花？还有，10月的时候都给上
了citrus 的肥料。

Orange County 马拉松比赛： 又一个牛皮吹破了
看来新手除非基础特别好，第一次BQ的牛皮就别再想吹了。
我比赛前一天，人生一场马拉松，激动地难以入睡。天气居然很热，我手脚都在外面，
半夜就发现鼻子已经堵塞了，喉咙很痛。
第二天三点多我就起来了，忙碌半天，等LD花了很长时间，结果到距离停车场（就是终点）还
有好几迈，车已经堵的不像话了。运送比赛选手的bus号称6点就停止了，我心急如火，
进入停车场，赶紧让LD开车，我腿衣服跑出去，排队等车的队伍长的吓人。
好不容易坐车到达起点，第一波已经出发了，我挤进人流，浩浩荡荡，别说8的pace，
根本跑不起来。
整个前5迈，我拼命在人群里面穿梭，一会6分多的pace, 一会被迫变成9分多，从左跑
到右，又跑到左，这个过程消耗了不少体力。
