The chart shows you what options the Wall Street guys are dumping to retail
traders.

The theory is insiders know ER in advance, and they would trade a lot of
options based on the news.
Once they trade a lot of options before the ER, Optionpain can catch their
actions and make an inference of the ER direction.
This has worked many, many times in the past. |

SBUX: Put dumped before Jan 24, 2013 ER
On Jan 15, 2013, it was found by Optionpain.com that over $5 million (24,137
contracts) Feb S55 puts dumped to the market on Monday, Jan 14, 2013.
It was found on jan 15, 2013 that SBUX could have a big upward jump after ER
10 days later, on Jan 25, 2013 SBUX jumped up by $2.39. |

其实关键是它的数据和算法可靠否。当然OE 时的价格可以跟option pain不一样，也没
法说什么。还有就是option的交易量中有不少市场换手而非新合同，还有用每天的收盘
价和实盘成交价也有区别。
总之，是很难验证。 |
