最近要交给在申请的学校正式的照片，挺重要的，希望给招生委员会一个好印象。我向
朋友和同学打听了一下，基本打算穿深色西装，淡蓝的条纹衬衫。现在有具体几个问题。
(1)美女们可以推荐一些好的拍人像的网站吗？
我听过有推荐targe啊， sears啊。还有其他推荐的吗？
另外，拍照的时候怎么可以笑的比较自然，摆pose比较自然，有什么建议吗？
(2) 是不是拍照之前临时化个淡妆？我的脸有点园，怎么可以把脸显的瘦一些?
(3) 我的淡蓝的衬衫是Theory的，已经有了，基本是新的。只穿衬衫拍，不好看。所以
决定加个深色西装。
(4) 现在西装还没有买。在Banana Republic和Express试了一下，都不太适合我的身材。在Bloomingdale 试了一下，Theory和Elie Tahari的合适些。 Elie Tahari的比Theory穿着衣服皱的更少些。但是两家的西服都有点贵。

ＥＬ。但是大量的产品是ＳＰＯＲＡＤＩＣ ＤＥＭＡＮＤ。现在的ＭＯＤＥＬ是用
ＡＧＧＲＥＧＡＴＥＤ ＤＥＭＡＮＤ作为一个ＩＮＤＩＣＡＴＯＲ来选产品，在每个
ＳＴＯＲＥ放至少一个选中的产品。
已经试过ＰＯＳＳＩＯＮ ＤＩＳＴＲＩＢＵＴＩＯＮ ＭＯＤＥＬ，效果更差。ＣＲ
ＯＳＴＯＮ ＭＯＤＥＬ也不ＷＯＲＫ。ＢＯＯＴＳＴＲＡＰＰＩＮＧ要求ＳＩＭＵＬ
ＡＴＩＯＮ，不是很实用。
有没有高人有其他办法？

ＳＳ每个星期ＵＰＤＡＴＥ一次，ＬＥＡＤ ＴＩＭＥ ２－３ＤＡＹＳ。
虽然有几年的历史数据，但现在只用３ＭＯＮＴＨ的ＤＡＴＡ来ＤＥＴＥＲＭＩＮＥ
ＮＥＸＴ ＷＥＥＫ’ＳＳ。实际上产品ＤＥＭＡＮＤ变化很快，超过三个月的数据一
般也没什么用。有大量产品的ＭＥＡＮ ＤＥＭＡＮＤ ＰＥＲ ＷＥＥＫ 不足每个
ＳＴＯＲＥ一个。 |

CONFIDENCE INTERVAL。实际上不管你PREDICT的DEMAND是多少，SS是一个BINARY
DECISION。放一个或不放。问题在于有几百个产品，哪些放一个，哪些不放。这个产品
的选择要有一个MODEL。 |

replenishment policy too. In this case, only lead time matters. we can
assume a fixed lead time too.
it is cost-minimization given a certain service level at the aggregated
level. start with no constraints on lead time , supply, space, etc. The
standard SS formulas works well in our case when demand is sufficient. The
challenge relies in the products whose demand is extremely sporadic. |

demand is extremely sporadic的话，光考虑demand amount的话数据很weak所含信息太
少，不管用什么model都很难得出significant的结果。我胡乱说几句，见笑了：
1）能不能考虑下加入每个demand之间的time interval的信息，看这些intervals之中
有没有
什么pattern。
2)还是同时考虑demand amount和demand发生的时间，应用time series的一些model。
3）跟2）一样，不过应用hierarchical model，譬如：
the observation is in format of (y_i,t_i) where y_i is demand amount and
t_i is the time that demand happens,
y_i ~ p(y|x_i)
where p()is poisson or other distributions and x_i is a latent process
that is unobservable.
