好象可以改那个启动文件（名字我忘记了）不自动调用OPENWIN就可以了
另外在出现OPENWIN之前输入帐号好象也可以跳过。。（是按STOP+A好象，指SUN键盘）
还有从OPENWIN也可以直接退到控制台，具体我回头看看先 |

的Openwin的配置搞惨了，我的C irrus 546X显卡OpenWin不识别，找来XFree86
3.3.5 for Solaris也没安装成功，各位老兄有没有配置Solaris图形界面
的经验，指点一下小弟如何？

安装cxterm.客户端是winnt4+Xwinpro.刚开始不知道启动远端的CXterm
时用的字体到底是在服务器端还是客户端的,现在终于搞清楚是用的
客户端的Xserver,并且也配制好了终于可以了!
其实我的最终目的是要在openwin里使用cxterm,但是赫然发现系里
的openwin竟然没有make,\这下一时没招了,只好登陆上学校的UNIX
MAKE,现在还没有想出如何解决这个问题,难不成还非得从系里登陆
到学校用? 在系里的OPENWIN上只家桓鲎痔 |

moreover, i have to use the OPENWIN automatically entered
from Command Line Login, not the one chosen directly.

2. in CDE, how can I activate a window by click its title
bar, not by moving the mouse curse on it, which is the
default?

connection. There are some sparc monitors with an output
(RGB cable) connector. I think that what he used, and there
involved some kernel hacking of using PROM data.
I think he is talking about multi-headed setup. He actually
means frame buffers by "两个显示器都找到了". Basically, you
start X/openwin with the two framebuffers as parameters,
something like 'openwin /dev/fb0 /dev/fb1'. |

但是必须修改.xinitrc才能默认启动openbox，不然它还是启动CDE/OpenWin。
我要将/home/name/bin/openbox加在哪个位置才对？

当然打成电出来的咯，现在在某烂公司糊口。。
我用的机器（ULTRA 10）在启动的时候用Ctrl+C就可以直接进入
控制台，另外可以在进入CDE之前选择需要的环境（可以是OPENWIN
，也可以是CDE），一般都用CDE，很少进OW。用了这么久也没怎么
琢磨过，就那么咪咪忽忽的使着，惭愧说~~ 8-） |

我每次从Workstation上用Exceed登进Unix时都会跑出来个c shell的窗口。
我喜欢用xterm，所以我编辑我目录下的启动配置文件.openwin-ini相关部分如下：

可这4个xterm windows跑出来的时候是一个叠一个下来的，就象是Windows软件中多窗口
的Cascade方式。我能不能让这4个窗口整齐地排列在4个象限之内呢？

Since there are very few packages available at www.sunfreeware.com,
I have to donwload source and compile myself. However, there are so many
errors
Take gv or ghostview as example
xmkmf always think Sun cc is available, and give -Xc -XF options after
compiler, and the error message is "unrecognized option ...". googled it
and somebody mentioned that we need to change openwin X configs so that
the compile will pass thru, any Sun SysAdmin here?

我需要的是在CDE任意窗口下能正常显示中文的方法：（
其实，我用的是x－win32远程登陆到学校的sun server的。
刚才google了一下，下载了一个far east的中文支持包，号称是只要在x－win32的
font里加上它就可以了，试了试，不成：（
在server的/usr/openwin/lib/font/locale/里面没有发现zh目录；
运行了xlsfonts -display mypc.ip:0 | grep gb2312;
系统信息：

我已经弄落xset fp+ .../openwin/.../75dpi/ and xset fp rehash 了.
请大家帮忙..

gnome-session如果已经有了，那么在vnc里面好像就比较困难。
