赢半个pot就不错了 说白了TOP Set都是draw hand 究其原因就是大家都有四张牌 太容易成
牌了 你要想高大几率的赢牌 尤其是big pot更是如此 Holdem大家常说"I am on a big
draw" 在Omaha里最理想的是 Made hand + redraw 既要成牌又想要redraw到更好的牌 唯一
的解决方案就是 all cards working together 你的牌扎堆 比如KQJT这样就可同时成顺外加
两对 如果对手揣着同样的nut straight跟你玩命 那太好了 这叫freerole 这是omaha里另一
个重要概念 以后再谈（freerole的现象其实也是四张牌的附加效应）
想想看 All cards working together 团结就是力量 有些人认为omaha就是6副holdem
的牌 我觉得更应该把它看成一个有机的整体才对 毕竟omaha有很多全新的概念
下面回顾一下我们的起手点兵的过程

边尼布拉斯卡州的Omaha的动物园玩一天。
星期日早上我们小吃了一下7点从家里出发，用GPS搜了半天也没有查到“Omaha's
Henry Doorly Zoo”，无奈之下，我只能凭着先前在家看google map的记忆，把目的地
设定在Omaha Downtown一带，等临近再做具体修改。
周日的早上车不多，我们一路飚到机场一带，发现前方开始有雾，能见度也就３００米
左右，最严重的时候估计也就１００米能见度，我们跟着前面的一辆车一起开着双闪，
４０～５０迈左右的行驶速度，还真让人郁闷，按这速度，我们中午也到不了目的地阿
。好在开了不到２０分钟的时间，我们驶出“朦胧区”，可以按照正常速度行驶。算上
途中遇到３次的修路５５限速区和跟一个卡车司机聊天的时间，我们１０点半左右到达
了Omaha，因为官网上介绍这里除了有动物园外，就是Downtown附近的Old Market还比
较有特点，我们索性先去那添肚子了。

an open-ended straight draw equals 8 outs. In Omaha, the wrap straight draws
equal 13, 17 or even 20 outs!
To value drawing hands in Omaha is hard in the beginning. A 13-card wrap is
in the low scale of good drawing hands. To play a wrap like this, we often
want a flush draw to go with it. And Omaha being a game of nuts, it is

下面是我的最初想法：
1，omaha 几乎每手都是相当的pot，holdem 要等太久，还不一定有你参与，即使参与
了，还不一定是赢家。所以，omaha 参与BIG pot 的机会多，赢的机会相应就多。效率
高。
2，omaha bet 结构是最初能把risk限制在可控的范围内。同时，由于每人有四张牌，
又增加了赢的可能性，所以，很多人不会轻易放弃，会继续增加赌注，希望得到想要的
牌。但有很多时候，你会flop NUTs，这就是你赢钱的机会。当然，你的NUTs，也可能
被draw掉，但可判断机会大小，采取行动。holdem 多数时候跟本看不完board就结束了
，赌得成分太大。
最近去了几家有ohmaha的地方，赢多输少，感觉不错。但也有可能是初学者的运气好。

Schools: There are two major public school districts in Omaha: Omaha Public
Schools (OPS) and Millard Public Schools. Millard schools in general are
all good. Some OPS schools, e.g. schools in district 66 and some in
northwestern region, are also good.
I found and checked three Chinese/Asian markets.

omaha 8原名 omaha holdem 跟holdem一样 也是flop game 就是大家用桌面的公用牌
区别在
1）每人四张 无他 就是制造矛盾来着 导致游戏复杂化 pot变大化
（一个间接后果是PLO， no limit omaha 无法想象）
2）成牌用且只能用手里的两张
3）high low split the pot, high hand跟holdem一样但注意规则2用且只用手里的两
张， 如果有low就是五张不同且低于8的牌最低的赢low pot，如果没有qualified low则high
hand wins all. 一个现成的GRE题 如果桌面只有两张低于8的牌结合规则2那就没有low
把规则好好想清楚 所有的基本策略都是结合规则来的

的一个基本思路 而且实用上手 他本来是选择起手牌的一个方法 但这不妨碍我们把它发扬光
大至每一条街(street)

南翔小笼包: label price $3.59; actual price $4.59
King mushroom: label price $2.29; actual price $3.29
Please be careful with your next purchase there! I would not visit the Asian Food Mart any more.
Fortunately, I can go to two other Asian markets in Omaha:
1) Happy Family Chinese Restaurant and Market

从安全的角度来讲，尽量不要住在UNMC附近。最好不要住在72街以东的地区。感觉上以
Dodge St.为中轴，在72和144街内都应该还可以。有很多Apartment可以选择。 144街
以西可能对你们有点远，不过如果是买房的话应该是可以考虑的。
另外Omaha中国人很少，中餐馆也很无聊。 |
