I, too, play both sports even though not as good as Aff.(USTA 3.5 at my best
and currently beginner golfer high handicap).
A few things I noted:
Total population: tennis has bigger crowd
Age distribution: tennis is on the young side while golf is on the older
side
Transition: lots of people started in tennis then gradually move to golf as
they get older. At the same time, they bring their experience in tennis play
into golf (myself an example)

Thermarest Classics ½ size, the other is the current Therm-a-Rest
ProLite Plus Mattress, the newer model is not as efficient as older one in
terms of self-inflating capability. Older one is nice and firm once is
unfolded and left there for several mininutes. The new one has to be blown
by mouth to reach a satisfactory firm state, otherwise it stays floopy no
matter how long you leave it to self-inflate.

years, one rating older than 2 years doesn't match the real level.
His level now could be higher or lower.
Some guys still play leagues in bay area, like mi24, ypeng, bigspoon etc.
their latest league rating should say more about their level.
Some ppl only have league ratings.
I hope haolaa knows how to check out one player's league rating too.

ones.
almost always the other way around.
the young ones are more manipulative, and more street-smart than the older
ones.
just like in Tom and Jerry, the older ones are always the "Tom", while the
younger ones are always "get away" from trouble as Jerry. |
