ERAS system, otherwise it will further effect your ivs. Oct1 is a deadline
for some programs, and LOR is basically mandatory for selecting programs,
the CK and CS can be updated i guess.
definitely apply this year if LOR is ready, unless you can improve your
package greatly this year, then you could wait for next year. but who knows,
rumor says much more AMGs next year. |

发帖数: 989 | 6 If you have H1b NOT J1 right now, you can work after you got H1B receipt. It's called "H1B Portability". But if the new H1 is denied, you will lost your status. If your new H1 is approved, you can continue to work.
The thing is you don't have status between the H1b approval date and Oct1. (The old H1 might not be valid and the new one is not in effect yet). I don't know how this "out of status" works. I think it's acceptable gap.

on Oct1. But I learned they do not sponsor green card. So I decided to go to
Company B.
If I file a H1 transfer, do I have to have the H1 approval from company A.
It seems their legal don't give it to me until I join them on Oct 1. Is
there anyway I can get it without bothering them or filing without the
approval. Or do I have to ask company A to withdraw their H1, and company B
to file a new one.

填成17个月OPT STEM 的expire date是2014年Feb 1st，
还是填成 Oct 1st呢？
一般大家申请时候这个怎么填呢？
我记得规定是最多提前6个月申请，所以oct1号h1b生效，那么就是april 1st提交，但
是在申请LCA时也要填你的H1b starting date那么填哪个时间呢？ |

India, 1700 inventory per month from this April.
China, 800 inventory per Month from July.
Then to move India EB2 to Oct1 will consume 10k. And 2k left move china EB2
to Oct.1st.
So my optimistic estimate is India EB2 to Sept 1st and China EB2 to No.1st.

2）照片后面一定要写名字和A#吗？用铅笔写不上，大家用什么笔写的？
3）没交过485，只有140批准件上有一个A#，那么485申请表和体检表上要填A#是填140
上那个吗？还是空白？
4）流感疫苗到底要不要打？看Instruction上说从Oct1 开始要打，可大夫说一定年龄
段的才要打，大家的医生怎么说的？
