OBOGS eliminates the need for LOX by utilizing
bleed air from the engine and separating its
components through a two-bed molecular
sieve pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology.
The OBOGS provides and generates a continuous
supply of 93% breathing oxygen. The
OBOGS interfaces with the conditioned bleed
air supply and the 28 VDC electrical supply.

Return of the Raptor:
The F-22 fleet will probably be up and running again "soon," said Chief of
Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz. In an interview Tuesday, Schwartz said he
expects a report next week from the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board task
force headed by retired Gen. Gregory Martin, which will offer a way forward
regarding questions about the F-22's o...

KADENA AIR BASE, Japan (AP) — Years before F-22 pilots began getting dizzy
in the cockpit, before one struggled to breathe as he tried to pull out of a
fatal crash, before two more went on television to say the plane was so
unsafe they refused to fly it, a small circle of U.S. Air Force experts knew
something was wrong with the prized stealth fighter jet.
