我有一个同事的老爸是物理系教授，他说他老爸以前系里面一个南方州来的白人教授，
娶了一个日本老婆，厨艺很好，经常做寿司带来给同事/朋友party的时候吃，他也是那
个时候开始喜欢吃寿司的。但是这个教授，从来不吃老婆做的寿司，只偏爱Chicken
Nugget, Burger, French Fries，你要让他来说，肯定什么中餐，日餐，泰国餐都是糟
粕。
开始我还觉得有点夸大，后来发现我们一个白人同事，从来不吃寿司，哪怕同事一起出

在男部景观线的owaka
owaka是个小镇，
有点类似怀俄明的偏远矿镇
估计不是看nugget point灯塔日出
也不会有旅客到那里投宿
小镇只有两条街，
但是有个很大青年旅馆
上下两层
估计有几十个房间
晚上也只有1，2个客人来投宿
有时一星期都没人住
昏暗走廊两边都是锁着的门
这个旅馆其实不是旅馆
它是医院改的
恐怖吧
医院有年头了
20年代盖的
50年来里面病死老死了好多人
大楼正中厨房是以前手术室
切菜的island就是以前的手术台啦
想想你在上面切肉的感觉
血汩汩地流出来
每个房间，每个紧闭的门后面都有个鬼
就是以前死在房间里的病人
和老人（后来这个医院变成养老院）
白天都埋在墙里
半夜就到走廊上游荡鬼混
如果你半夜憋不住要小便去厕所时
在空荡荡，阴森森，昏暗走廊上

周末我家老二在院子墙角发现四只大老鼠，一只已经死了，另三只半死不活仍苟延残喘
。感谢耗子药！一周前我把新买来的鼠敌撒在了鼠灾严重的阁楼，据说此药鼠吃后不立
马死，而是要等到一周左右才毒发身亡。我对准一只肥头大耳的RAT一铁锨插下去就把
头插断了，然后又是一下便解决了第二只。没想到此时老二不干了，他突然从惊愕中反
应过来，一边双手抓住我的胳膊不让我下家伙，一边大哭大闹，还使劲踢我的腿，让我
赶紧stop，说我太 cruel， 杀死那么cute 的pet。 我反复跟他说老鼠会传染疾病，毁
坏房子，还去偷鸡食，而且它已经中毒了肚子肯定很难受，我这是在帮它解脱痛苦。结

The folks at Naked Emperor News have unearthed another interesting nugget
from a Barack Obama interview from months ago. In January 2008, Obama spoke
about his approach to global warming and cap-and-trade systems, and he had a
warning for anyone foolish enough to invest in coal:

Just when you’ve figured Team Obama has quite possibly hit their lowest
point in campaigning and rhetoric, they trot out something else just to make
sure the bar still has a few rungs left.
This time, it was Old Man Biden again. You know, “Joe just being Joe.”
In Danville, Virginia, Tuesday, the audience, which was described as roughly
half black/half white, was treated to one of Old Man Biden’s campaign
barnstorm speeches.

He really, really hates being around the wealthy.
This evening in New York City, President Obama will be fundraising with
“NBA heroes,” according to his spokesman. Those “heroes” include Michael
Jordan (who is also a failed baseball player), Patrick Ewing, Alonzo
Mourning, and, perhaps most interestingly, Carmelo Anthony.
Anthony helped make the pro-drugs YouTube video called “Stop Snitchin.”
