结合该微博中提到“S”姓、北京著名民谣歌手等因素，不少网友猜测是演唱《安和桥》、《董小姐》的歌手宋冬野。而结果也证实了网友们的猜测，当晚6点，重案组37号从权威渠道证实，歌手宋冬野涉嫌吸毒已被警方抓获。
与此同时，赶到案发地的重案组37号探员发现，距柏林爱乐三期不远由宋冬野所经营的“NOTHERE不在”酒吧，有人员被警方带走。宋冬野妻子赵晓璐则表示“不可思议”。
网传被抓地点系宋冬野住处
10月13日下午5点，重案组37号来到朝阳北路柏林爱乐三期。该小区表保安表示，下午3点左右，小区曾出现一辆警车，“但不知道干什么，也没有看到警察抓人”。对于宋冬野吸毒一事，小区多位居民表示“不知情，在小区也没见过他”，该小区附近一家烟酒店老板证实，宋冬野就居住在此处。
