上面10 year note长的时候，fgovx之类的bond fund就跌。

the reverse convertible? My guess is this note has a step cpn which either
step up or down after certain period. You have to rely on the prospectus for
this. As to the Option premium, the bank may sell some options embeded with

days, i'm feeling confused as ever by the correlation. so i am hoping maybe
someone can offer some explanation.
when bp's stock price went up, a reflection of market's optimism towards the
company, the yields on all its notes with maturity ranging from 2011 to
2019 all went up as well, which is a indication of pessimissm. when the
stock price went down, so did the yields. take yesterday for example, the

important那是不言而喻， 作为buy side,你当然要知道这个的value and risk.
为什么说silly呢 ， 因为所有的投行的所有的产品， 特别是现在这种structure
的product,在推出之前是要经过compliance department approve的， 所有客户
可能碰到的risk,我们都要在说明书上写的一清二楚， 如果你买了什么product
然后发现银行没有disclosure其中的risk, 你可以告银行发大财了。经历过这么多著名
的high profile law suit，没哪家投行这么傻吧。所以你根本不用来问有什么风险，
各种风险都写得一条条清清楚楚。
当然，disclosure归disclosure, 那都是字面上的东西， 每个buyer对这些的理解不一
样。就比如说， credit risk,你对银行倒闭的risk理解有多少， 你可能
觉得MS这么出名的投行，倒闭可能性很小， 可是除非你是sophisticated investor或

能不能介绍下经验？现在买NOTE是好时候么？这两种哪种现在好一点，fixed-principal
说说欧自己的观点，参考而已。买notes本身就是一种很保守的投资方法，风险小(美国政
府信用担保)，当然收益也小。这种投资大部份是老年人，闲钱比较多的那种。年轻人买
这种东西应该只是投资中很小的一部份，作保本用。经济好，大概inflation的机会也大
，所以为什么说要买inflation-indexed。经济不好才会砍利率，这种时候你是否还要考
虑增值呢？恐怕保本就可以了吧。 |

发帖数: 5290 | 35 首先这玩意和cd差得很多，这种structured note就是华尔街用你的钱去搞些high
leverage gamble的，再打个包卖给你，通常ask/bid spread很大，中间很难退出。而
cd需要钱了变现很容易，甚至可以自己搞ladder.所以你要是根本不知道怎么定价就别
碰这东西了，ymyd
大概看了一下，如果sp500和russell 2000 index没有跌过50%，那你拿回par value，
否则就拿不到，本金没有保证。而你的收益是和指数挂钩limited<10%，cms是什么？
commercial mortgage rate？所以你投资这个的目的是什么？如果你是想避险，如果08
年那样的经济危机再来一次，你这个东西就血本无归了，根本没有避险的功能，还不如
去搞点高coupon的goverment note或者tips.当然现在是不是好时机我说不好，don't
time the market.如果你觉得这种情况不会发生，又贪图收益，可以自己买spy然后按
月做collar option，至少随时可以退出。
还是那句话，自己先好好学习，对自己的钱负责。

外面，咬到牙龈。医生问他说牙龈有点痛。所以牙医建议做个什么，我没听懂，肯定不

如果股票在 $360 以上，notes holder 拿股票;
如果是$360以下，他们拿钱。
所以他们根本不怕，唯一他们会损失的 scenario 是 TSLA 没钱，
也借不到钱还他们，这个基本上是不可能。
作为 TSLA,当然希望在 $360以上，不用拿出近 $1B cash。
直接转成股票，稀释总股数，这样 TSLA 最省心。

其中其中100美元的钞票是假币，然后给了我一张counterfeit note report的表格，并
