Are racists dumb? Do conservatives tend to be less intelligent than liberals
? A provocative new study from Brock University in Ontario suggests the
answer to both questions may be a qualified yes.
The study, published in Psychological Science, showed that people who score
low on I.Q. tests in childhood are more likely to develop prejudiced beliefs
and socially conservative politics in adulthood.

1989年发生在中国的“六四”天安门事件，没有改变中国，却引发了东欧共产党国家的
剧变，即出现了民众推翻共产党一党制统治的运动。剧变最先在波兰出现，后来扩展到
东德、捷克斯洛伐克、匈牙利、保加利亚、罗马尼亚等前华沙条约组织国家，最后以苏
共亡党、苏联解体告终。在东欧剧变中，除了罗马尼亚发生了流血事件外，其他国家都
是通过自由选举，由共产党和平移交政权结束的。在这一过程中，东欧各国的共产党高
