matrix operations if you can.
Rewriting it in C is a good idea, if speed is an issue. I got a nonlinear

performance 扯到赚不赚钱。
就事论事，physics engine 只是 3D 游戏的核心部分之一，一般来说都用 C/C++ 来写
。因为里面不管是粒子系统，软物体（有限元），流体，动力学，全都涉及到大量的矩
阵运算（而且一般还是 sparse 的）以及相关优化问题。这些矩阵运算不仅仅是做个加
法乘法的事情。比如 linear/nonlinear complementarity problem. 而且这种运算一般
都要求 real time。
在这上面你想要怎么 call opengl 渲染爱用啥用啥，js 也好 java 也好。。。然后大
型游戏你服务器那边底层构架 code 爱用啥用啥。。。
另外，ASM.js 其实本来就不是让人自己来读的。emscripten 编译出来的接近 llvm
byte code 一样。。还记得昨天 google 主页的 pony express 游戏吧，你可以看看那
段 js 代码，就是 emscripten 搞出来的。 |

As I know in my company, people make the judgment subjectively by their
market sense and whether the model fitting is meaningful and explainable. It
is similar when they do feature selection. They just try, try and try. Try
different categorizing, different models, linear or nonlinear, and finally

我觉得这像一个哲学问题。
input: 血压数据 ------output：病人是否高血压
input: 血糖数据 ------output：病人是否糖尿病
input: 图像pixel ------output: 人脸识别这个是谁？
input: 遗传SNP ------output: 这个人会不会得帕金森？
对于任何新的问题/data，是不是我们都先blind的在training data上尝试各种
modeling？线性的非线性的；如果input和output真的有逻辑关系，那么至少会有一种
technique在test data上展现出很好的performance。
（当然参数的调试，甚至一开始选择哪种machine learning/deep learning手段这是另
外一个问题，可以另开个帖子）
如果尝试过很多，还是没能找到表现优异的model，

和 Google 过来的的 manager 认为 ML engineer 只有某些公司的某些组的才能用。

这几个 IC level 的面试流程反正差不多，如果同学们对高一个档次的职位有兴趣，当
然更欢迎简历。
教授也欢迎投简历，我们这边只有 EE, OR, bschool 的教授，目前还没有生统生信的
教授。教授待遇一般都是从 300-400k 这个档次往上的。
另外工作内容当然首先是 software engineer，然后需要做大量的 nonlinear
optimization 和 machine learning。在这个基础上如果分布式系统比较懂，code
quality 非常好，交流合作没问题，对产品能有好的理解，300k以上待遇是没问题的。
其实我觉得这都是基本要求，但是确实找不到人，非常欢迎背景符合的同学和老师报名

数据的工具和发展数据分析的方法。你所谓的物理数学方法在复杂系统里的表现我一个
外行不能多加评判，但根据我当初选的nonlinear dynamics课的经验，应该不会太好。
一堆微分方程的paper，可行度有多少，也只有modeler自己心里清楚了。不过物理学家
想一步到位的心态可以理解。 |
